With over 17 years of experience working with children, adults, and families, I have had the privilege of collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds and across a wide range of settings. This extensive experience has allowed me to work with a vast array of patients, each with unique challenges and needs. Throughout my career, I have developed specialized expertise in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, and relational issues, among others. My approach is grounded in evidence-based techniques, but I also recognize the importance of flexibility and compassion in creating a personalized treatment plan for each individual. I provide fully confidential psychotherapy sessions designed to support individuals in overcoming emotional, psychological, and relational struggles. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, rediscover your strengths, and ultimately thrive. Whether you're navigating the complexities of trauma, struggling with anxiety or depression, or seeking to improve relational dynamics, I am here to guide you through the healing process at your own pace. Through a combination of active listening, tailored therapeutic strategies, and emotional support, I aim to help you gain clarity, develop coping skills, and move towards meaningful change. I am committed to supporting you every step of the way, empowering you to regain a sense of control, well-being, and fulfillment in your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our intake session, we'll take time to get to know each other and establish a comfortable, open space for conversation. I'll ask questions to learn about your background, experiences, and any challenges you're currently facing. We'll also explore what brought you to therapy and what specific goals or changes you're hoping to achieve. This conversation will help me understand your unique needs, and together, we'll create a personalized approach to treatment that aligns with your goals. By the end of the session, we'll have a clear direction for how to move forward in a way that supports your growth and healing.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a therapist, my greatest strengths would likely align with qualities that foster trust, empathy, and effective problem-solving skills. I have a strong ability to deeply listen and understand people’s emotions and experiences. This helps create a safe, non-judgmental space where patients feel comfortable sharing their struggles. I’m also skilled at identifying patterns in behavior, thoughts, and emotions, which allows me to develop tailored strategies to address the unique needs of each patient. This helps me understand both the root causes of issues and possible solutions.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am deeply passionate about helping individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and a history of trauma. My commitment lies in supporting those who are navigating these challenging experiences, offering a compassionate and non-judgmental space where healing can begin. I understand how overwhelming these issues can be, and I am dedicated to guiding individuals through the process of recovery, helping them regain hope, and empowerment in life.

My treatment methods

EMDR

As a therapist, working with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) can be both a profound and transformative experience—for both the therapist and the patient. I use EMDR to focus on specific memories that are “stuck” in the patient’s nervous system. Often, these are memories that continue to evoke strong emotions, unwanted behaviors, or distressing physiological responses. In practice, the therapist works with the patient to identify those memories and guide them through reprocessing them in the EMDR format.
