My passion for therapy stems from my desire to connect with people. My family is made up of diverse cultures. I have aunts, uncles, and cousins from various backgrounds, and I have always loved listening to their stories. As a result, I want to learn as much as I can about others. I want to know how they think and what drives them. I believe that it is my purpose in life to serve my clients on their journey to reaching their highest potential. To me, this is what it means to be a therapist. It is my honor to be of service to the community by facilitating this process for individuals, couples, and families.
I partner with my clients on their journey to reaching their highest potential, while facing life’s challenges head on. This exploration can be frightening, intimidating, or even difficult. My job is to partner with my clients to help ease their anxiety and offer clarity.
n order to fulfill my purpose of serving my clients on their journey to personal growth, I believe that it is my responsibility to utilize the resources available to me in becoming the best therapist I can be. I have a continual goal of enhancing the quality of the services I provide to my clients. Which is why after earning a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, I went back to school and earned a Doctorate in Marriage and Family therapy. I continue to gain new knowledge and skills through continuing education training programs such as EMDR, EFT, and others.
