Hello my name is Karina. Do you currently feel you are at full capacity with life and needs assistance with managing current struggles in family, relationships, past trauma, work or health? What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Client's will have intake forms completed by the first session. The first session is considered a consultation where we go over basic demographic information, contact information and history for me to get to know the individual and their current needs. The client and therapist get to assess if its a good fit and if so, identify on what they would like to work on in therapy as a goal.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I am trained in EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT and Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness and meditation.

I started working with severe mental illness and specialize working with people who have experienced trauma. My biggest strengths are in assisting client's to stabilize emotionally and overcome their trauma experiences in order to not feel that the traumatic experience takes over their life.

I would like to focus on client's who have challenges with grief and or have PTSD or past trauma.
