New to Grow
Hi, I’m Arpi, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and EMDR-trained therapist in Los Angeles. I help adults struggling with anxiety, trauma, OCD (including relationship OCD), ADHD, depression, and perfectionism. My clients often feel stuck in cycles of self-doubt, overthinking, and overwhelm — like no matter how hard they try, it’s never enough. My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct. I’ll create a safe, judgment-free space where you can be fully yourself while we work on practical strategies for lasting change. Along with talk therapy, I use evidence-based tools like EMDR, CBT, mindfulness, and parts work to address the root of what’s keeping you stuck. At the heart of my work is this belief: you are not broken. Together, we’ll help you feel calmer, more confident, and more connected to yourself.
Our first session is about slowing down and getting to know you. You don’t need to have the perfect words or a polished story — I’ll guide the conversation with curiosity and warmth. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy, what you’ve already tried, and what you’re hoping for. By the end, you’ll leave with a sense of direction and, hopefully, some relief knowing you don’t have to carry it all alone anymore.
Clients often tell me I’m both compassionate and direct — I’ll support you deeply, but I’ll also help you notice when you’re being hard on yourself or getting stuck in old patterns. My approach blends EMDR therapy, CBT, mindfulness, and parts work, so we’re not just talking about problems — we’re working with both your mind and body to create real shifts. I also use specialized EMDR protocols for challenges like OCD, body image, and relationship doubts, which means I can tailor therapy to fit you, even if other approaches haven’t worked before.
I work best with adults who feel stuck in their own thoughts — whether that shows up as anxiety, OCD, ADHD, trauma, perfectionism, depression or burnout. Many of my clients are high-achieving and capable on the outside, but inside they feel exhausted, self-critical, and never “enough.” If you’re tired of overthinking, looping in doubt, or carrying the weight of the past, therapy with me can help you feel calmer, more grounded, and connected to yourself again.
I am trained in EMDR and use EMDR therapy to help clients process and release painful memories, intrusive thoughts, and negative beliefs that keep them stuck. Rather than just talking about the past, EMDR works with how your brain and body store experiences — allowing those memories to “update” so they no longer feel overwhelming or in control of your present. Whether it’s trauma, anxiety, OCD, low self-esteem, perfectionism, depression, grief, ADHD, or burnout, EMDR helps your brain reprocess what’s been weighing you down and make space for new perspectives. Clients often notice they feel lighter, calmer, and more connected to themselves — with room for relief, self-trust, and even joy again.
I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and use it to help clients work with challenging thoughts, while committing to personal values.
CBT helps you recognize unhelpful thought patterns — like self-criticism, catastrophizing, or “all-or-nothing” thinking — and shift them into more balanced, realistic perspectives. In therapy, I’ll help you notice these automatic thoughts, understand how they affect your feelings and behaviors, and practice healthier ways of responding. Over time, CBT gives you practical tools to feel calmer, more in control, and less weighed down by negative thinking.
Attachment-based therapy helps you explore how your earliest relationships may have shaped the way you see yourself and connect with others. If those early bonds were inconsistent, stressful, or left you feeling unseen, it can carry into adulthood as anxiety, self-doubt, or difficulty trusting. In our work together, we’ll look at these patterns with compassion — not blame. The goal is to help you feel more secure, supported, and confident in yourself and your relationships today.
As a mindfulness-based therapist, I teach clients how to use present-moment awareness to manage anxiety, reduce stress, and build emotional resilience.
