I am a Bay Area native and earned my Master’s degree from the University of San Francisco. I have over six years of clinical experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care to help clients navigate life’s challenges and achieve meaningful personal growth. I believe that every individual has the inner resources to work through difficulties, embrace change, and cultivate a more fulfilling, balanced life. In therapy, I provide a supportive, judgment-free space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions, develop self-awareness, and work toward their personal and relational goals. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each client’s needs, with a focus on reducing stress, fostering resilience, and strengthening relationships. I am committed to guiding clients through the therapeutic process and empowering them to heal, learn, and create lasting, positive change in their lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive space for our work together. During this intake session, we will talk about what brought you to therapy, any previous experiences you’ve had with therapy, and the challenges you are currently facing. We will also explore your goals and what you hope to gain from therapy. Just as importantly, this session allows you to get a sense of my style and approach to see if it feels like a good fit for you. Finding the right therapeutic connection is important, and the first session helps us determine whether working together feels supportive and aligned with your needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach to therapy is collaborative and supportive. I believe you are the expert on your life, and my role is to help guide and support you as we work toward meaningful change. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood while also gaining practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. In our work together, we focus on identifying unhelpful patterns, building insight, and developing coping strategies that can be applied in everyday life. I value tangible progress, so I often incorporate concrete exercises and actionable strategies that help clients manage symptoms, improve emotional wellbeing, and feel more confident handling stress and difficult situations.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with high-functioning adults and young professionals who may appear successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck internally. Many of my clients grew up in environments where they learned to be responsible, people-pleasing, or perfectionistic at a young age. While these traits may have helped them succeed, they can also lead to anxiety, self-criticism, and difficulty feeling truly at ease. My approach is insight-oriented and “bottom-up,” meaning we explore how early experiences and core beliefs from childhood continue to shape current thoughts, emotions, and relationships. I work best with clients who are motivated to better understand themselves and are willing to do the deeper work to break old patterns. Together, we focus on building self-awareness, developing healthier coping tools, and helping clients feel more confident, balanced, and aligned with the life they want

My treatment methods

EMDR

I enjoy using EMDR to treat client's struggling with trauma, PTSD, grief & bereavement, phobias, and anxiety disorders. EMDR can help alleviate and/or decrease symptoms such as hyper vigilance, fear, nightmares, worrying and tension in the body. It can be more effective than talk therapy because you don’t have to get into the details of the stressor and still process it.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is helpful in overcoming persistent negative thoughts and effectively managing symptoms. CBT helps develop practical skills and coping strategies to effectively manage emotions and improve your overall well-being. When we can identify how our thoughts influence our emotions we can change those negative thoughts to more helpful ones.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is important because as humans we are curious beings and when we understand why we did something or where it comes from there is relief and understanding.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is a great modality to help when dealing with extreme emotional suffering, managing emotional regulation, interpersonal difficulties, or self-destructive behaviors. DBT is very good at giving tools and activities to help manage the distress that you can incorporate into your everyday life to see change.
