Welcome, it takes motivation and courage to reach out for assistance with life's challenges; I appreciate you taking time out of your day to review my profile. From my 15+ years in the field of Social Work I strongly believe that Talk Therapy can have an overwhelmingly positive impact upon various mental health conditions, cognitions and coping skills. Hi There! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with seven years of experience supporting individuals navigate life’s challenges. My approach is rooted in empathy and compassion, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel genuinely seen and heard. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and that each person is the expert of their own life. Together, we'll build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward lasting change.
My approach draws on psychoanalytic thinking, which revolves on one central idea: much of what we think and feel remains outside of our awareness.
Sometimes we keep powerful feelings hidden so we can continue moving through the day, or we simply cannot find time to reflect on everything that is happening to us.
In any case, keeping these potent experiences hidden may leave us feeling stiff, dreary, unfulfilled, or even numb and dull.
I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with 20 years of professional work experience. I received my Masters in Social Work at California Long Beach. I have experience working with children, adults, couples, and families in crisis and life challenges. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change.
I am a Bay Area native woman who identifies as a Christian, mother, social worker, and African-American. Growing up, I had a rough childhood in which I stayed with multiple family members and was exposed to the “fast” life and dysfunctional relationships, as well as the “9 to 5 working”, church centered, married life. While both made me into the woman I am, it was really my grandparents taking me in as a teen and showing me unconditional love, that made me able to not become another statistic, and understand what love is. My healing journey was not easy, but it was necessary! It is the people who poured into me and believed in me when I didn’t love or believe in myself that help me transform from broken and angry to the confident woman who loves herself and steps out on faith and gives back to those who have past or current circumstances that are holding them back from being there best version of them. I am not here to judge or tell anyone how to live. I am here to help people release their traumas, hurts, and other obstacles so they can restore to a healthy level of functioning mentally, spiritually, and physically. I focus on the person as a whole as our health mentally, spiritually, and physically, has a direct impact on on well being, and an imbalance in any one can hinder our level of functioning.
As a licensed clinician, I can support you with leaving a cycle of uncertainty becoming more confident in your decision making. With my trauma focused background, I help clients understand how they've been affected by things that have happened to them and how life experiences shape core beliefs. As part of your overall self-care routine, therapy can be a useful tool for strengthening both coping skills and emotional regulation.
Hi, my name is Vanesha but you can call me Vee for short. I am a licensed therapist based in California, and I have 10 years of experience providing compassionate care to diverse communities. I work closely with LGBTQ+ populations and provide recommendation letters for gender-affirming care. I draw from principles of trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and attachment theory to promote healing and wellness.
Do you have a history of attracting relationships where the other person is emotionally unavailable? Have you experienced gaslighting, manipulation, blaming - what's otherwise known as narcissistic abuse? You may feel as though you are all alone and that no one understands the relationship. What's even worse, people may think you are imagining or exaggerating the abuse that you are experiencing because the other person is so charming to everyone else. You have done everything from crying to begging, offering to go to couples counseling, to even taking the blame for the problems that occur in the relationship. You are unsure of what else can be done to salvage the situation, so you have finally decided to take the next step to work on yourself. You have experienced everything from anger, depression, anxiety, crying spells, to questioning your sanity. Something has got to give.
While you may feel alone, the reality is that you are not. There are a lot of people who experience narcissistic abuse. Whether you experienced in your family, your intimate relationships, at your job, or with your friends; I can be of help.
I am a therapist with ample life experience, as well as experience serving the client populations of California. I will meet you where you are and have the ability to empathize with you on many levels. I will listen, encourage and support you in a non-judgmental environment. Feel free to express yourself how you like and be open about how you feel. Let's begin this journey and make some progress together.
Hi, I'm Kristin Howard, an LA native who loves traveling, music, yoga, photography, dancing, and hiking. I began my journey towards becoming a therapist 16 years ago. I've had previous experience working for a suicide hotline, doing my traineeship at a high school, working with children, adolescents, and adults in community mental health, working with emerging adult population at private universities, and for a group private practice. I've had the opportunity to work with individuals dealing with relationship issues, trauma, life transition, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and identity/cultural concerns. What I love most about being a therapist is having the privilege to connect with some of the most incredible human beings and provide them a safe space to process any life challenges they're dealing with.
Greetings we have found each other.

Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) (LCPC) (LPC) (LMHC) licensed in various states. She believes together, you will build upon your strengths, identify your concerns and you will overcome your challenges.
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), I’m passionate about helping people create lasting change through a collaborative, supportive, and results-oriented therapeutic relationship. My approach is grounded in empathy and flexibility—I meet each client where they are and tailor sessions to fit their unique goals, pace, and preferences.
I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, life transitions, or identity exploration, we’ll work together to build insight, develop practical tools, and strengthen your sense of self.
Clients often tell me they feel truly heard, respected, and empowered in our work together. I prioritize creating a safe, culturally responsive space where you can explore, heal, and grow—on your terms. Hello. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I am a graduate of California Baptist University and I have 25 years experience and licensed 18 years. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. However for approximately the past seven (8) years I am working with adults only; ages 18-65. I assist them with acknowledging challenges they are facing and learning new ways of coping.
My name is Ariel Wilcoxen. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Southern California, and I work with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults, couples, families, and adolescents. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. My theoretical orientation draws from Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Adlerian theory, and Transactional Analysis. I also have experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, and several other evidence-based approaches to guide clients toward healing and achieving their personal goals.
Welcome to my profile. My name is Kawanna Gritney and i’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist specializing in helping individuals and couples heal the emotional patterns that keep them stuck. My individual therapy work focuses on healing past trauma using Attachment-Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR)—a powerful, research-supported method that transforms long-standing pain at its root rather than simply managing symptoms. Clients often choose this treatment when they’re ready to drastically reduce/eliminate symptoms, attain deeper healing, gain relief from persistent triggers, and develop a renewed sense of self. This service is usually fully covered by insurance, making trauma treatment both accessible and sustainable.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I also specialize in marriage and couples counseling for partners who want to strengthen their connection, repair trust, communicate more effectively, manage conflict or prepare for a healthy future together before marriage. I use the Gottman Method, one of the most respected and proven approaches for improving relationship dynamics. My work with couples focuses on the relationship system—the patterns between you—rather than diagnosing one partner or treating pathology. Because this service is relational rather than medical, insurance does not cover the type of couples/marriage counseling I provide. If you and your partner are interested in receiving couples/marriage counseling you can schedule your 55 min assessment sessions (3 assessment sessions in total) on the GROW platform for $170/assessment session. Once you enter the treatment phase of your couples/marriage counseling, treatment sessions are 90 mins and $260/session.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For couples preparing for marriage, I offer a 4-hour virtual premarital counseling course grounded in decades of research on what makes relationships last. This course helps couples build essential skills—communication, conflict management, emotional connection, shared meaning, and teamwork—to create a strong foundation for a long-lasting marriage. Consultations are scheduled on the GROW platform for $170. The entire program is $497.

Let us begin!
Welcome! I'm Erica Fitts, LMFT
You're here, which means that you have taken steps toward enhancing your mental wellness. Beginning your therapy journey can be scary, exciting, and powerful.
One of the primary benefits of therapy is emotional support and validation. I encompass a therapeutic, non judgmental, safe space for clients to express themselves freely. I foster a sense of comfort, empathy, and compassion while helping clients navigate their emotions and gain fresh perspective.
Therapy serves as a tool for self exploration. By engaging in meaningful introspective exercises clients will develop healthier coping tools, leading to personal growth.
Hi there.
My name is Alexis Morris and my preferred name is Lexi. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California, my primary goal is to provide compassionate and effective therapy to individuals seeking support and guidance. With a foundation in evidence-based practices, I specialize in helping clients navigate through life's challenges and achieve their personal goals.
Drawing from various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches, I tailor my interventions to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client. My approach is collaborative, focusing on building a trusting therapeutic relationship that fosters openness and growth.
I believe in the importance of creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of criticism. Through exploration and self-discovery, my aim is to empower clients to cultivate resilience, enhance self-awareness, and develop effective coping strategies.
As a counselor committed to ethical standards and ongoing professional development, I strive to stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the field. My dedication to the well-being of my clients is reflected in my advocacy for their mental health and personal growth throughout the therapeutic process.
I’m Mariane Makkar, LCSW, LICSW based in California. I am also licensed in Washington, DC. I completed my graduate studies at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Since 2017, I’ve worked in a variety of psychiatric and mental health settings. My own journey has been unique and authentic, and I integrate that into how I show up for clients. look forward to learning yours.
I believe people generally want to be happy, effective, and successful in their lives. Working from a client-centered approach, I aim to display unconditional empathy and genuine support to strengthen the therapeutic relationship and help you on your journey to a more holistic, congruent view of yourself. Effective OCD treatment means challenging yourself to do those things you fear—not just speak about them. With therapy, change is easy to see, but it takes your hard work and dedication to do the opposite of what has been protecting you from stress, anxiety, and fear. Living in an OCD cycle is distressing and time consuming, but often times comfortable; its repetitive and ritualistic nature provides a false sense of safety and control. Effective OCD treatment requires a willingness to abandoned your tried and true (though unhealthy) methods try something new. Together, we can enact the change you’d like to see in your life.
