(she/her)
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who offers a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. I work with youth, adolescents, young adults, couples, and families facing anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and life transitions. My approach to therapy is direct, compassionate, and individualized. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be holding you back, build insight, and develop practical coping strategies. I’m especially passionate about helping clients strengthen relationships, improve communication, and navigate change with confidence and clarity. I take a holistic approach to mental health, addressing the connection between mind and body. Using evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based therapy, I help clients understand and change unhelpful patterns. Together, we build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and support lasting, meaningful change. I provide clients with practical tools for growth while offering education on emotional regulation and long-term healing. I’m committed to challenging mental health stigma and creating a safe, welcoming space for all. I also offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to ensure we’re a good fit.
During your first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another and building a foundation for our work together. I'll ask questions to better understand what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, your personal history, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what has or hasn't worked for you in the past, and discuss any preferences you have for therapy. Together, we'll begin identifying your goals and create a plan that is tailored to your unique needs. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. There is no pressure to tell your entire story in one session—we'll move at a pace that feels right for you while working collaboratively toward meaningful and lasting change.
I bring authenticity, compassion, and a direct yet supportive approach to every session. I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and understood while also feeling challenged to explore the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I believe meaningful growth happens when clients feel both supported and empowered to make changes. What sets my approach apart is my commitment to tailoring therapy to each individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all method. I take time to understand your unique experiences, relationships, values, and goals, and I use that understanding to guide our work together. My focus is on helping you build insight into how past experiences influence your present, develop practical skills for managing current challenges, and create lasting, meaningful change. Throughout the process, I prioritize collaboration, ensuring you feel like an active participant in your own growth and healing.
I work well with children, adolescents, and adults who are motivated to better understand themselves and create meaningful change in their lives. My ideal clients may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship or family conflict, stress, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, or behavioral challenges. They may feel overwhelmed, stuck in recurring patterns, or uncertain about how to move forward, but are open to exploring their experiences and developing healthier ways of coping.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we explore unhelpful thinking patterns and beliefs that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, or other challenges. Once these patterns are identified, we work collaboratively to challenge them, develop healthier perspectives, and practice practical coping strategies that support meaningful change. My approach to CBT is collaborative, individualized, and goal-oriented. Rather than applying techniques in a one-size-fits-all way, I tailor interventions to each client's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I integrate CBT with a compassionate, trauma-informed perspective, helping clients build self-awareness, strengthen emotional regulation, improve problem-solving skills, and develop lasting tools they can use outside of therapy. My goal is to help clients feel empowered to make meaningful changes that improve their overall well-being and quality of life.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop practical skills for managing intense emotions, reducing distress, and improving relationships. My approach emphasizes balancing acceptance of your current experiences with making meaningful changes that support your goals. Together, we work to identify emotional and behavioral patterns, build effective coping strategies, and strengthen your ability to respond to life's challenges in healthier ways. I tailor DBT interventions to each client's unique needs, integrating skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness into our work. I provide a supportive, collaborative environment where clients can practice these skills, increase self-awareness, and build confidence in navigating difficult emotions and relationships. My goal is to help clients develop lasting skills that promote emotional resilience, healthier relationships, and an improved quality of life.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use a Solution-Focused approach to help clients identify their strengths, clarify their goals, and build on what is already working in their lives. Rather than focusing solely on problems, I help clients recognize their existing abilities, resources, and past successes so they can create practical, achievable steps toward change.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients process traumatic experiences in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. My approach is trauma-informed, recognizing the impact trauma can have on thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and overall well-being. I work collaboratively with clients to build a strong foundation of trust before gradually exploring traumatic experiences at a pace that feels appropriate and manageable. Using TF-CBT principles, I help clients develop healthy coping skills, improve emotional regulation, identify and reframe unhelpful thoughts related to trauma, and process difficult memories in ways that reduce their emotional impact. When working with children and adolescents, I also involve caregivers when appropriate to strengthen support, improve communication, and reinforce skills outside of sessions. My goal is to help clients build resilience, increase their sense of safety and self-worth, and move toward healing while feeling supported throughout the therapeutic process.
