During our first session, you can expect to: • Share your story at your own pace. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, the concerns you are experiencing, and the challenges you would like support with. You do not have to share anything before you feel ready. • Explore your emotions and relationship patterns. We may begin identifying how past experiences, attachment patterns, core beliefs, or current stressors influence the way you see yourself and connect with others. • Identify your goals. Together, we will discuss what you hope to gain from therapy, whether that involves healing from past experiences, building self-confidence, improving emotional regulation, establishing boundaries, or developing healthier relationships. • Understand the therapeutic process. I will explain how therapy works, answer your questions, and discuss confidentiality, its limits, and what you can expect as we work together. • Begin building trust and connection. Treatment methods
Attachment-based
I use attachment-based therapy to help clients understand how their early relationships and life experiences may influence their emotional well-being, self-worth, and relationships today. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I help clients recognize patterns that may be keeping them from experiencing the emotional security, trust, and meaningful connections they desire.
EMDR
I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help clients process distressing life experiences that may continue to affect their emotional well-being, self-worth, and relationships. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and individualized, recognizing that each person's healing journey is unique.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use Person-Centered Therapy to create a supportive, empathetic, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and accepted. My approach is grounded in the belief that every individual has the capacity for self-awareness, personal growth, and meaningful change when provided with the right therapeutic support.
