Hello, I am Frankie. I am from the San Francisco Bay Area. I've been a therapist and social worker for many years, working with a vast cross-section of society. My experience has been primarily focused on working with families dealing with domestic violence and child abuse. I have also worked in the areas of substance abuse, homelessness, and mental health and illness. My goal as a therapist is to help people make the most of their lives, despite obstacles. I believe that happiness is created within. Our work is to identify and remove the barriers to joy and satisfaction. I want to assist in developing true, healthy, and inspirational narratives that support your current goals.
During our first session, I like to ask a series of questions that help me get to know you, the people who populate your life, your goals and your concerns. You are free to ask questions and state your preferences at any time.
I have had many experiences in life, both personal and professional, that have shaped me into a knowledgeable, empathetic, straightforward, and caring person. I believe that people seek therapy primarily to better orient their paths in life and to find relief from their emotional pain. I partner with my clients to explore how their fundamental beliefs and automatic behaviors are shaped by their pasts. We will work to discern which adaptations are helpful and which hinder feeling free and authentic.
My ideal clients are individuals feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or held back by unhelpful thoughts and patterns. They may struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, or difficulty managing emotions. They're ready to explore change, build coping skills, and work toward lasting growth. I support clients who are motivated to gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful, empowered lives.

I've successfully used CBT tools to help clients identify, challenge, and reframe unhelpful thoughts that contribute to feeling stuck or disempowered. By integrating strategies to shift behavior patterns and teaching practical skills for emotional regulation and problem-solving, clients begin to see measurable progress. This structured approach not only fosters a sense of control and momentum but also empowers clients to become their own therapists—reducing the risk of relapse and promoting long-term resilience.
