Hi, I’m Lorren, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I create a space where you can be fully yourself, where healing is about coming home to who you are with compassion and clarity. I work mostly with individuals in their teens, 20s, and 30s, and center BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and marginalized identities in my work. I specialize in anxiety, identity exploration, grief, and relationship therapy (including non-traditional structures like ethical non-monogamy). My approaches vary from CBT, ERP, Play Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, The Gottman Method for Couples/Relationship Therapy, and I have a deep commitment to social justice and systems awareness. When it fits, I bring creativity and nature into sessions as tools for healing.
In our first session, we’ll start by getting to know each other and going over a few housekeeping items like confidentiality, boundaries, and expectations. I’ll ask about your background and what led you to seek therapy, and together we’ll begin identifying your goals. This session is about creating a safe, collaborative space where you can begin your healing process with clarity and intention.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to meet each client with deep respect, curiosity, and care for their unique story. I’ve supported clients through a wide range of life transitions, grief, identity development, and everyday stressors; always centering their lived experiences and values. I also bring strength and sensitivity to relationship therapy, working well with couples and those in non-traditional or non-monogamous partnerships.
My primary focus is on children, teens, and young adults from BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. I specialize in working with individuals and couples who are ready to engage in therapy. I offer support to individuals navigating identity exploration, anxiety, and grief. Additionally, I provide relationship therapy for couples and individuals including those who are exploring or considering ethical non-monogamy or polyamory.

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and I incorporate different styles of treatment as needed , I center my treatment modality around my client's needs. I was trained in person centered approach in my graduate program and apply other approaches like EMDR, TFCBT, Systems/Social justice approaches, and Gestalt.
I specialize in couples therapy utilizing the Gottman Method, a highly effective, research-driven framework. My goal is to help partners navigate perpetual conflict, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional intimacy. Together, we will look at the patterns in your relationship dynamics and implement practical, everyday tools to help you move from gridlock to meaningful connection and collaboration.
I specialize in working with children, teens and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, behavioral outbursts, depression, or navigating identity. I use an integrative approach combining play therapy and developmentally appropriate activities with traditional CBT therapy. We build coping skills and learn how to calm the body and mind while speaking. language that kids understand whether that is play, stories, art, or traditional conversational styles. I also incorporate exposure therapy when treating kids who may be navigating phobias, ocd, or avoidant anxiety patterns.
