Hello, I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been in the field for over twenty years. I generally see Adults for Individual Therapy and Couples Counseling. I am also a Registered Addiction Specialist. My life experiences and education makes it possible for me to meet Individuals and Couples where they are emotionally to assist them through their Therapeutics Journey.

First session
In our first session we will start with brief introductions, the gathering of general information as well as collateral Information where possible and personal history for the assessment process. After determining that we have good Client/Therapist rapport, we generally will meet weekly in the Early Stages of therapy. We will work together to create a treatment plan with reasonable and quantitative Goals always following the Client's lead in working through whatever issues the Client would like to address.

Having worked in the field for over twenty years I have a great deal of experience. I also have life experience and have worked with a diverse group of people over the years.

I enjoy working with adults that are coming with a willingness to want to change and openness to the therapy process.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is the most excepted Modality of Treatment and it helps relieve symptoms and increase coping skills by utilizing problem solving.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I draw upon the client's expertise in themselves, use a variety of techniques and questions to demonstrate their strengths, resources, and desires. With the focus shifted to what is already working in a client's life, and how things will look when they are better, more room opens up for the solutions to arrive.
