New to Grow
I take a non-judgmental and caring approach to therapy and understand that life circumstance and struggles can be difficult and painful. I understand that an individual may feel all alone in their struggles. Having a supportive listener through tough times can pave the way for lifelong changes. It does not matter what life challenges are thrown your way, we can work together to create a life that is meaningful and satisfying. I specialize in Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Stress Management, Couple's Therapy, and burnout.
Our first session will focus on building rapport, addressing the current and immediate concern for seeking therapy at that time. I will complete inital intake addressing concerns, worries, thoughts and fears about therapy.
My counseling approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and trauma-informed care to help clients better understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and past experiences. Together, we work toward creating meaningful, lasting change while building emotional resilience and self-awareness.
I have experiencing with providing therapy for adolescent and young adults and would like to continue to work with young adults to help them figure out purpose, career and other life decisions. I have experience with working with couples, building that positive communication and helping the couple figure out the disconnection in the relationship. I have experience with individual therapy, helping clients reach personal goals that they are aware they want to achieve, but needing assistance with accountability to reach those goals.
