Everyone deserves support during challenging times. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with over 19 years of experience, I’m here to help. I provide therapy, coaching, and educational services designed to help you overcome adversity and build resilience. Through secure telehealth sessions, you can receive quality behavioral health care from the comfort of your home—using your computer, smartphone, or tablet. If you or someone you care about is facing a difficult time, reach out today. Let’s take the first step toward healing together.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and supported. We’ll start by talking about what brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to work on. You don’t need to have everything figured out — we’ll sort through it together at your pace. I’ll ask some questions about your history, your current concerns, and what life looks like for you day to day. This helps me get a full picture of what you’re experiencing so I can tailor our work to your needs. You’re always welcome to share as much or as little as you feel ready for. We’ll also talk about what therapy with me looks like — how I use CBT and other approaches, how we set goals, and how we’ll track your progress. I’ll answer any questions you have about the process, confidentiality, or what sessions will feel like moving forward. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of the direction we’re heading, the skills we may work on, and how we’ll partner together to help you reach your goals. My priority is creating a safe, non judgmental space where you can be yourself and begin the work of healing and growth.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe in a person-centered approach to care that emphasizes collaboration and respect for individual preferences and choices. Listening actively and partnering with clients is essential to achieving effective outcomes. I utilize evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address negative thoughts and emotional challenges that may contribute to anxiety, depression, or anger. Additionally, I incorporate Solution-Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to support clients in identifying strengths and fostering positive change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who knows they’re struggling and is ready to make a change, even if they’re not sure where to start. They may be dealing with stress, anxiety, anger, relationship challenges, or difficulty managing emotions. They want to understand themselves better and learn healthier ways to cope, communicate, and respond to life’s challenges. They are open to talking honestly, willing to look at their patterns, and motivated to grow. They don’t have to have everything figured out — they just need to be willing to show up, try new skills, and work toward becoming the healthiest version of themselves.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful or automatic thoughts that contribute to emotional distress or problematic reactions. Once these patterns are recognized, we work on challenging and reframing them into more balanced and realistic thoughts. I also help clients build practical coping skills they can use in real life situations. This includes strategies such as grounding, breathing exercises, thought stopping, and communication tools. Clients practice these skills both in session and between sessions so they can begin responding to situations in healthier, more intentional ways. Overall, CBT helps clients gain insight into their internal experiences, reduce emotional reactivity, and make meaningful changes in how they think, feel, and behave.
