My name is Patricia Hernandez, M.Ed., LPC, CSTIP, MBIP. I am fully licensed as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) with 3 years of experience helping adults, teens, elderly, children, and families in crisis anywhere in the state of Texas (Ah … the wonderful power of teletherapy!). Most of my life has been spent in Texas, which includes my master’s level counselor training from Sul Ross State University in Uvalde, Texas. I embarked on this journey to provide services to working people of all genders who’ve had trouble fitting in attention to their mental health because of their busy schedules. Virtual therapy allows me to do just that! It offers consistency because it fits the comfort of your home, car, or local park. So, snow, wind, or rain won’t stop us now! All sessions are virtual and I highly recommend you bring along your fur baby, blanket, and favorite beverage to the session.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our initial sessions, we will start with brief introductions, discuss issues specific to your situation and challenges you’re facing, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing your needs in a way that helps you get your life back on track. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. Most clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and experience sustained improvements after.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have developed a genuine passion for helping people who seem to be stuck in a particular place and can’t find how to move to the next level. Compassion, and being non-judgmental are my driving force.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with young adults and older people who feel overwhelmed, exhausted, having irrational or negative thoughts, or people who are experiencing some kind of trauma, or are grieving the loss of someone or something. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, or anxious about moving forward, and many times don’t see how to move forward.

I feel genuinely comfortable speaking with Patricia. She offers thoughtful, practical advice that I can actually apply in my everyday life. After working with several therapists over the past few years, I’ve learned how rare it is to find someone who listens deeply, understands your perspective, and gives guidance that truly makes a difference. Patricia does all of that with ease, and it’s been incredibly meaningful for me
