I am a man of God, family man and someone who is always here to help. I served 10 years active-duty Army and when leaving the service, I pursued a college education earning my degrees to help individuals who want help. I will help anyone regardless of ability to pay as long as it is ethical and said individual wants help. Life can be a struggle and we all need help sometimes, I have been called unhinged and I do use humor when appropriate as asking for help can be uncomfortable and I will do anything possible to help ease these feelings/thoughts. The power of Jesus and his word is unimaginable so expect this along with evidenced based practices.

I’m a licensed therapist and the founder of MindfulWayz and The Sanctuary, where I offer a warm, steady, emotionally spacious environment for adults navigating overwhelm, trauma, anxiety, and nervous‑system strain. My work is grounded in presence, curiosity, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I hold space without urgency, without pressure, and without the expectation to move faster than your system is ready for. I work slowly and collaboratively, honoring each person’s pace and the wisdom of their internal timing. My approach weaves somatic awareness, gentle reflection, and mindful pacing to support clients in reconnecting with their inner steadiness and creating a more compassionate relationship with themselves. I integrate trauma‑informed stabilization, parts‑oriented exploration, and nervous‑system regulation practices in ways that feel accessible and choice‑based. Clients often come to me during seasons of transition, exhaustion, or emotional overload — moments when old strategies no longer feel supportive and something quieter, steadier, and more sustainable is needed. Together, we explore what feels tender, what feels possible, and what feels ready, allowing your system to guide the process. My intention is to offer a therapeutic space that feels grounding, inclusive, and deeply respectful of your humanity. A space where you can soften, breathe, and move at a pace that feels safe for your body, your story, and your unfolding.

I'm Anabel, a clinical social worker and certified trauma therapist in TX and WA states. I work with people who are really good at holding it all together — until they're not. If you're exhausted in a way that's hard to explain, carrying more than your share, and wondering if this is just what life feels like now — this is the space I built for that. I work with adults who are holding everything together — managing responsibilities, relationships, and internal pressure — while quietly wondering why it all still feels so hard. With all of my clients, the priority is to connect – connection breeds trust – trust breeds comfort – and when you’re comfortable within your environment, you have a good foundation from which to start venturing down the path of your individualized therapy. When you feel comfortable enough to be honest about your anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, relationship struggles, trauma, or life stressors, real work can begin. The reason why I choose the work I do, is because psychology is incredibly dynamic – no two people are the same. Many of us share similar moments in life, but the way in which those experiences affect us, is as individualized as each person I work with. That’s why I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy, your story deserves its own structure.

My name is Granyon Perry‑Wooden, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I understand the gift of sitting with people in a space that makes sense to them, and it’s never something I take for granted. I’ve worked and served in health and human services for over 20 years, and these are different times. Life isn’t just “life‑ing” — it’s challenging. One thing I know for sure is that we all need someone who will truly hear us. In my work, I draw from various therapeutic modalities to ensure that the approach we use makes sense for your care and your lived experience. I am a therapist who walks with you, supports you, and helps you explore what’s possible, not someone who tells you what to do. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, empowered, and safe to grow.

Frequently asked questions

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in Texas. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Texas from Houston to Austin! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Texas.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need. For example, your selected specialty, Military/Veterans, is filtering therapists in Texas that work with patients with similar concerns.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
