Hi there, I'm Steve and I've been in clinical services now for several years. I've worked with a wide variety of people from lots of different parts of the world with just as many different issues, but absolutely recognize that yours is individual and there is no one-size-fits-all solution to any problem. In counseling with me, we will discuss and utilize a variety methods to meet your individual needs.
In our first session together, I'll be making sure I hear what it is you want. We will discuss our roles and expectations and get a plan started as soon as you are ready to meet your challenges.
Frequently people may start counseling knowing something is wrong, but may not have the words to describe it. Sometimes depression or anxiety are too broad of terms to accurately describe what they feel. I use many modalities for treatment and build those into a solution-focused plan, meaning, I want to help my clients find out what they want and then work with them on how to get it.
My practice frequently sees people who have never been to therapy before and I strive to be the welcoming, kind, and relatable therapist that puts clients at ease. This doesn't mean I only work with new clients; my current caseload has a varied mix. Overall, I am glad to work with any person who is interested in solving their problems-even if they don't know for sure what they might be.

I’ve never done therapy before and was worried about going to therapy but Steve definitely made it easier for me during our first session.

so far he been able to really listen to what I'm really going through I would recommend him to anyone who really need good advice n listens very good n don't tell me what I have to do but explain what I can think about what I'm saying and try to be able to find good solution to problems thank you so much for being here
