Hello! My name is Kristine. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with experience providing therapeutic services to adults, children, and couples. My experience spans several areas, including domestic violence, crisis intervention, substance abuse, family and relationship challenges, learning challenges, problem-solving skills, building resilience skills, career and vocational guidance, anger and stress management, emotional triggers, and life and resilience skills. My therapeutic treatment approaches are Client-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. My educational foundation is a Master's in Psychology, a second Master's in Psychology specializing in Family, Couples, and Individual Psychotherapy, and I will complete the Master's Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program in 2026. As a Therapist and Registered Nurse, I have a holistic approach. I have focused training and experience in many areas, including working with children in elementary school, inmates, and family violence prevention services. I have extensive experience with group counseling, individual counseling, couples and family counseling, and military services. I am a 24-year Air Force and Army Veteran with three combat deployments, and I bring a unique understanding of deployments and family separation. I stay current on the latest techniques and theories to provide the best services for my clients. In the very near future, I will be able to provide you with both therapeutic and medication support, reducing the number of providers and referrals needed to meet your healthcare needs. I am here to help, and I look forward to being a part of your journey.
I have been working with individuals struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use, sexual addiction, and mental health challenges for the past ten years. I have a real heart to walk alongside you to encourage, support, and empower you to move forward in your recovery needs. I graduated from Liberty University in 2014 with an MA in Professional Counseling and completed a Doctoral program specializing in treating trauma-related challenges. I approach recovery through the eyes of motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I am also trained in EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
Let me guess: You've been thinking about therapy for a while now. Maybe months, maybe years, but something kept stopping you. Too busy, too expensive, "it's not that bad yet," or maybe just the fear of opening up to a stranger who might judge you or not really get it.
Here's what I want you to know: You're already doing the hardest part by being here, you don't need to wait until things get worse, you don't need permission to ask for help, and you definitely don't have to figure this out alone. That's literally what I'm here for.
As a board-certified bilingual therapist (MS, LMHC, LPC, NCC) licensed in Florida, Texas, and New Jersey, veteran, and founder of Time to Talk Therapy, I've spent over 10 years supporting more than 3,000 clients through trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions that once felt impossible. I've worked everywhere from crisis units and corrections facilities to refugee shelters and quiet therapy rooms, supporting people through chronic mental illness, personality disorders, abuse, trauma, ADHD, OCD, addictions, and some of the hardest moments of their lives. Here's what I know for sure: healing doesn't require perfection, it requires honesty and someone who actually gets it. You're not broken, you're dealing with hard things, and you deserve help that feels supportive, not cold, not judgmental, not like one more thing you're supposed to "fix" about yourself.
Every client should feel like they found exactly the right person. If your main concerns involve grief, substance use, divorce, or couples therapy, you will find someone here who is a better fit. For everything else life has thrown your way? I'm right here.
📣Life can get busy, so I offer weekend availability, early-morning/after-hour sessions (6:00AM–10:00PM EST), along with self-pay options ($110) to give you a little more flexibility.
Struggling with personal issues with intimacy, connection, romance, or sexuality can be scary and confusing. Having the right someone to work with you to help you get through those times and situations can be rewarding. Whether it’s to develop a way out of a difficult situation, learn how to cope, or explore aspects of yourself I am here to work with you. My primary focus is on issues that manifest themselves in a sexual nature or have a sexual aspect to them. I assist clients in identifying, understanding and overcoming issues of an intimate nature with grace and dignity.
I would like to describe myself as a guy who likes to collaborate with clients to reach their goals and help guide them to overcome barriers that are stopping them to achieve them. I currently work at a Crisis Center for the state of Georgia trying to help people repair their lives. I'm also accepting clients in Texas as well. Through out my career as a social worker, I've dealt with at risk youths, inmates, and substance abuse, and homeless population. I've come to realize that a lot of people have one thing in common, they all would like to be treated with respect and allow them to have their autonomy. My great listening and problem solving skills with my clients help them to come to solutions to their own problems. That's what a lot of my clients can expect is a person who ask open-ended questions to help them consider things that they normally haven't and challenge their thoughts or desires versus their actions in life.
I am licensed in Texas with an associates in justice administration, a bachelor's in justice administration with a focus on human services and a minor in psychology, and a master's of arts in counseling. I have experience in helping clients with coping with addictions, trauma, abuse, and anger management. I also have experience working with coping with life changes. I have worked with all levels of addiction, Bexar County Probation, in-patient recovery, wounded transition for military members, domestic violence, and crisis intervention.

There is a way out. Those who come to see me are often at a crossroads, frustrated at how they are trying to deal with problems and seeking workable strategies and solutions to cope. Therapy is meant to be a space to feel welcome to talk about thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are problematic. Understanding unhealthy behaviors, frustrations with life, and/or unsuccessful efforts to cope can help reveal the obstacles that may block your path to growth and desired outcomes.
I have over 15 years experience providing therapy and case management including in the areas of: Couples counseling; Anxiety issues; Medical and chronic pain issues; Phobias; Eating disorders and body image challenges; Post-residential and outpatient maintenance therapy for continued abstinence and sobriety from substance use and eating disorders; Fertility and conception issues; LGBTQ and gender concerns; and Couples counseling (without legal involvement).
I am distinguished by my training in Strengths Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Emotional Freedom "Tapping" technique, Acceptance and Commitment, Mindfulness, and Contemplative Care. I am licensed in CA, ID, VA, FL, TX, NJ, WA, and UT.
Why do we explore? So you can live a life YOU want to live!
** I do not provide forensically-focused clinical services for individuals/couples involved in active litigation, divorce proceedings, or child custody disputes, nor do I provide court-ordered evaluations or expert testimony**
