I am a compassionate and client-centered therapist who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges while creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for healing and growth. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, grief, relationship challenges, and stress management. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each client’s unique needs, helping them build healthy coping skills, increase self-awareness, and move toward the version of themselves they want to become. I believe therapy should feel empowering, authentic, and supportive as clients learn to heal, grow, and thrive.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we will spend time getting to know one another and building a comfortable space where you can share openly at your own pace. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, any current challenges you may be experiencing, and the goals you hope to work toward throughout the therapeutic process. I may ask questions about different areas of your life, including relationships, stressors, mental health history, coping skills, and strengths, so I can better understand how to support you. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about your journey forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to create a genuine, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe being themselves. I take a collaborative and personalized approach to therapy, understanding that each person’s experiences, needs, and healing process are unique. I strive to help clients feel empowered while also challenging them in healthy and meaningful ways that encourage growth, self-awareness, and emotional healing. I am especially passionate about helping clients build confidence, develop healthier coping skills, improve emotional regulation, navigate difficult life transitions, and strengthen their sense of self. Clients often appreciate my compassionate presence, ability to actively listen, and balance of empathy with practical strategies they can apply in their daily lives. My goal is to help clients not only process their experiences but also feel equipped to move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and confidence.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is open to self-exploration and willing to engage actively in the therapeutic process. While they don’t need to have everything figured out, they show curiosity about their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and a desire to create meaningful, lasting change in their life and relationships over time through effort and collaboration within the therapeutic relationship.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I regularly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a structured, evidence-based approach to help clients better understand and change unhelpful patterns in their thinking and behavior. I’m drawn to CBT because of its collaborative nature and its focus on equipping clients with practical, skills-based tools they can apply outside of sessions. I typically begin by working with clients to identify the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, helping them recognize patterns that may be maintaining distress. From there, I guide clients in challenging cognitive distortions and developing more balanced, realistic ways of thinking. I also incorporate behavioral interventions, such as activity scheduling, exposure techniques, and skills training, to support meaningful change in their daily lives. My sessions tend to be structured yet flexible. I often set an agenda collaboratively, review progress, and focus on specific, goal-oriented interventions. I also emphasize the importance of between-session practice, encouraging clients to apply strategies in real-world contexts, which I find is key to lasting progress.
