I am an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I received my Masters degree from the University of Houston. I have over ten years of experience working in the mental health field. Most recently, I have worked with people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, worry, and adjustment issues due to normal life events. I also help people with managing stress and burnout.
I start with a comprehensive assessment that allows me to gain a thorough understanding of your needs. I work collaboratively with you to determine the best treatment for accomplishing your goals.
I believe that moving toward healing through a holistic model (mind, body, spiritual) is the optimal approach to assist people in their journey to wellness. I accomplish this by focusing on recovery efforts that will maximize your potential in all aspects of life: with family, at home, at work, or at school.
I enjoy working with people who are receptive to self-reflection, committed to making changes, and looking for ways to improve their quality of life.

I use an eclectic therapy to provide a flexible and individualized approach to therapy. This approach combines techniques and insights from various theoretical schools of thought. It aims to create a treatment plan that is tailored to the specific needs of the client.
I utilize CBT therapy to help clients change their thoughts and behaviors to improve their mood and quality of life. It helps clients in identifying and challenging unhelpful thoughts, and learn to think more positively.
I use supportive therapy to help clients manage emotional distress and psychiatric symptoms. It's a nonjudgmental, safe space for clients to talk about their feelings, concerns, and problems.
I use this approach to help clients envision a better future and identify their goals. It also helps clients recognize their strengths and resources.
