(she/her)
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years of experience — and a woman who has navigated midlife, reinvention, and the seasons of life that quietly change you. That lived experience shapes every session I offer. I specialize in working with women who are strong on the outside but exhausted on the inside — women navigating menopause, identity shifts, heartbreak, dating, and the complicated feeling of standing at a crossroads wondering who they are becoming. I'm warm and direct. I'll hold space when you need to be heard and gently challenge you when you're ready to grow. Clients tell me they feel safe being real with me from the very first conversation — and that they leave sessions feeling clearer, lighter, and more like themselves. My approach blends evidence-based therapy with mind-body practices rooted in mindfulness, breathwork, and somatic awareness — because healing lives in the body too, not just the mind. If you've been carrying something alone for too long or simply know that something needs to shift — I'm here. Just come as you are.
Our first session is 60 minutes and completely virtual — so you can join from wherever feels comfortable and private. No commute, no waiting room, no having to pull yourself together before walking in. Just you, wherever you are. Before we dive in, I want you to know something: you don't need to have it all figured out. You don't need a perfectly rehearsed story or a clear explanation of why you're here. Many of my clients come in knowing only that something needs to change — and that's enough. Here's what will happen: We'll slow things down. I'll ask what's been weighing on you, what you're hoping will feel different, and what you'd like your life to look like on the other side of this. I'll listen closely and ask gentle questions — not to interrogate, but to really understand you. I'll also ask about your strengths, your history, and what has or hasn't worked before. This helps me understand not just what's hard, but what you already carry that we can build on. By the end of our first session, we'll have a sense of direction together — a realistic, manageable plan that fits your life. Most importantly, my goal is for you to leave feeling heard, hopeful, and less alone. Not overwhelmed. Not judged. Just genuinely seen — maybe for the first time in a long time. Many clients tell me our first session was the first time they'd ever said any of it out loud — and that they left feeling lighter than they had in years. That's what I'm here for. Just show up.
I've lived through the seasons I help others navigate. Midlife. Reinvention. Loss. The disorienting feeling of not recognizing yourself anymore. The exhaustion of being strong for everyone while quietly falling apart inside. I'm not observing your struggle from a distance — I've walked through my own. That lived experience is what makes my sessions different. I don't just understand what you're going through clinically — I understand it humanly. Do I hold space or push back? Honestly — both. And knowing which one you need in any given moment is one of my greatest strengths. Some sessions you need someone to simply sit with you in the hard feelings without rushing you toward solutions. I can do that. I won't flinch, I won't redirect, and I won't make you feel like too much. Other sessions you need someone to lovingly call out the story keeping you stuck. I can do that too. Not every therapist can do both. I've learned to. That combination — a safe landing AND a gentle truth-teller — is what creates real, lasting movement rather than just temporary relief. Whether you need to be held or challenged — sometimes both in the same hour — I'll meet you exactly where you are.
I work best with women who are strong on the outside but quietly exhausted on the inside. Women who are navigating menopause, midlife, heartbreak, identity shifts, or the complicated feeling of standing at a crossroads wondering who they are becoming. You might be lying awake at night wondering who you are anymore. You might have spent years being the strong one — the caretaker, the one who holds it all together — while quietly falling apart inside. You might be done settling but not sure what you actually want. Maybe you've never said any of this out loud before. Maybe you've tried therapy and never quite felt safe enough to be fully real. Maybe you just know something needs to shift and you're finally ready. If any of that sounds familiar — you're exactly who I work with. I bring warmth, lived experience, and a direct but compassionate approach. I'll hold space when you need it and gently challenge you when you're ready. Together we'll uncover what's keeping you stuck, rediscover your strengths, and build a path forward that actually fits your life. You don't have to have it figured out to begin. Just show up as you are.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT has been a cornerstone of my work for nearly 20 years. It helps you become a skilled observer of your own thoughts and patterns — so you can understand why you react the way you do and begin to change it. For women navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relationship patterns, or the mental noise of midlife, CBT offers practical tools you can use immediately. It's not just about insight — it's about turning that awareness into real, lasting change.
EMDR
EMDR is for clients carrying weight they haven't been able to put down — whether from a single traumatic event or years of experiences that built up quietly. It's especially powerful for women who have felt unseen, stuck, or unable to move past something no matter how hard they've tried. In a calm, structured setting, EMDR helps your brain reprocess distressing memories so they lose their grip. Many clients find that after EMDR, they finally feel free to move forward.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Sometimes you don't need to dig into the past — you need to move forward right now. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is perfect for women navigating transitions, burnout, heartbreak, or simply feeling stuck. Instead of dwelling on problems we identify what's already working and build on it. The result is clarity, renewed purpose, and a realistic path forward — faster than you might expect.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness isn't about emptying your mind — it's about learning to meet each moment without being swept away by it. For women carrying chronic stress, anxiety, or the emotional weight of midlife, mindfulness practices calm the nervous system and create space for clarity and choice. In our sessions we'll use guided breathing, grounding exercises, and simple daily practices you can weave into real life — not just the therapy hour.
Eclectic
I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Every woman who sits with me brings a different story, different needs, and a different definition of healing. My approach is intentionally flexible — drawing from evidence-based methods while integrating holistic practices when they serve you. We might blend talk therapy with breathwork, mindfulness, gentle movement, or somatic awareness. Your healing path should be as unique as your life.

I had a wonderful experience with my new Therapist. She listened within judgement, was incredibly understanding, and made me feel truly heard and supported. For the first time I felt hopeful about getting through this chapter in life.
