(she/her)
I’m a therapist within the field of Mental Health with over 12 years of experience. I have experience in helping clients with anxiety, stress management, adhd, depression/mood disorders, and simply navigating through life. My preferred therapy approach is providing a safe and warm-welcoming environment. It is important for clients to be challenged as many of us are resistant to change. I utilize an eclectic approach with clients based on their needs.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong foundation for your care. During this time, I’ll ask questions to better understand your concerns, goals, and what brought you to therapy.
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is creating a warm and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe, supported, and heard. I understand that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and I strive to make the process as approachable and collaborative as possible. I’m also skilled at tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Whether you're looking for a goal-focused plan or need space to process emotions at your own pace, I’m flexible and responsive to what works best for you.
My ideal client is someone who feels overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or emotionally drained and is ready to make a change. I enjoy supporting adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, life transitions, relationship stress, self-esteem concerns, and burnout. Clients who work well with me often want to better understand themselves, feel more in control of their emotions, set healthier boundaries, and build practical coping skills. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I may help you challenge negative thoughts and replace them with more balanced ones or develop strategies to manage overwhelming emotions. Whether you're working through life transitions, anxiety, or simply seeking greater peace of mind, my goal is to create a supportive space where you feel empowered and heard as you build new coping skills.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help you focus on your strengths and find practical solutions to the challenges you're facing. SFBT is a goal-oriented approach that emphasizes what’s working well and helps you build on those successes, rather than focusing solely on the problem.
Psychoeducation
In my practice, I use psychoeducation to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Psychoeducation involves providing information and resources so you can gain insight into the challenges you're facing, whether it's related to anxiety, depression, trauma, or navigating life transitions. Understanding "the why" behind what you're experiencing can be incredibly empowering. I’ll explain mental health concepts in a way that’s easy to grasp, so you feel informed and equipped with tools to manage your symptoms and make meaningful changes in your life.

After just my first session with Lauren, I can tell she is the right fit for me. It felt like I was meeting a new friend and I just know the relationship would get even better. I’m excited for my next sessions with her.

A few things that stood out to me was her sense of direction, she was able to ask her questions that would better get to know me in addition to allowing me to occasionally go off on a tangent. However remaining on task. She’s very strategic in her approach. As long as you ask the right questions she’ll bounce back with a way to challenge you to think and hold you accountable. Mind you I noticed this in the first session.
