New to Grow
I have been in the mental health field since 1996 and a licensed clinician since 2010. I am licensed in Texas and Colorado. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and co-occurring substance use concerns. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and focuses on identifying maladaptive patterns, improving emotional regulation, and developing practical coping strategies to support long-term change. I’m passionate about helping people recognize their strengths and build a life that feels more balanced and intentional. I believe therapy should feel both supportive and useful. I work to help clients better understand what’s driving their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while building real-life tools to manage stress, improve mood, and move forward. My approach is down-to-earth, structured, and tailored to your goals.
Reaching out for support can be one of the hardest steps, but it’s also a meaningful one. My goal is to make the process feel approachable and collaborative, so you can feel more at ease from the very beginning.
My greatest strength as a therapist is combining nearly a decade of clinical experience (licensed since 2016) with a down-to-earth, approachable style. Clients often share that I’m easy to work with, and I focus on practical, real-world problem solving to help them make meaningful progress.
My ideal client may be navigating both mental health and substance use challenges and is ready to build a healthier, more balanced life. They’re open to accountability, skill-building, and exploring underlying patterns that contribute to their struggles. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space while also helping clients stay focused on their goals. I work best with individuals who are motivated for change—even if they’re not sure where to start. My ideal client is open to learning new coping strategies, reflecting on patterns, and practicing skills outside of sessions. Whether you’re a teen or adult, I provide a supportive and structured space to help you move toward your goals.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In our work together, I often use CBT to help you notice how your thoughts impact how you feel and respond to situations. We’ll work side-by-side to identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and I’ll support you in building more balanced thinking and healthier coping tools you can use in everyday life.
