Life can feel like standing at a crossroads with no clear signs. The pressure to have it all figured out — your career, your relationships, your sense of self — can quietly build into something heavier than you expected. If you're waking up exhausted, struggling to feel motivated, and carrying a low hum of worry that never quite goes away, you're not alone. And you don't have to keep pushing through it on your own.
I specialize in working with adults navigating the overlapping challenges of anxiety and depression — two experiences that often travel together, each making the other harder to manage. You might find yourself caught in cycles of overthinking and withdrawal, feeling both restless and empty at the same time. That tension is real, and it makes sense given everything you're carrying.
My approach combines talk therapy with practical, evidence-based tools designed to build lasting change. Together, we'll work to untangle the thought patterns keeping you stuck, develop coping skills you can actually use in daily life, and strengthen your emotional resilience and flexibility — so that when life gets hard, you have real resources to draw on. I create a space that is warm, judgment-free, and genuinely tailored to who you are, and what works for you.
You're at a stage of life that's full of real pressure and real possibility. Therapy isn't about having something "seriously wrong" with you — it's about getting the support you deserve to move through this period with more clarity, steadiness, and self-compassion.

Hello, I am Shana Toney, a Licensed Professional Counselor. Over my lifetime I have always worked in human services. It was gratifying to work with clients in their time of need and support them through the process. Many of the clients would say they felt comfortable talking to me and I listened to their needs. Those years of serving the community led me to become a therapist. Once I became a therapist 8 years ago, I found my passion. I love having the opportunity and freedom to work with clients, helping them figure things out, learn to create change in their lives and coping with situations they have no control over. Change is not easy but possible. My role as a therapist is to walk with clients to help create their change and happiness they desire.
Who We Are:
Here at Live Consciously, we are a trauma-informed group practice serving adolescents and adults across Texas. We are dedicated to helping individuals heal from trauma, reconnect with themselves, and build a deeper sense of self-love, worthiness, and emotional balance.
We believe therapy should honor the whole person — mind, body, nervous system, identity, story, and lived experience. While we support clients in reducing symptoms, we do not see people as labels or diagnoses. We see human beings who have adapted, survived, protected themselves, and carried pain in ways that often made sense based on what they experienced.
Our approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy by recognizing that healing does not happen in the mind alone. Trauma, stress, grief, and emotional pain can live in the body and nervous system, shaping how we think, feel, relate, react, and move through the world.
Because of this, our clinicians use trauma-informed, evidence-based, and body-centered approaches to create a safe, compassionate, and affirming space where clients can feel seen, supported, and empowered to move toward awareness, healing, and authentic connection with themselves.
Shelly has worked with clients in distress for over 20 years as a caseworker and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas and more recently in Arizona. She has been able to nurture her passion for building strong therapeutic relationships and meaningful connections with clients through extensive experience and training. Shelly's focus on strong connections, trust, and safety are key elements to inspire healing and growth.

Hello! My name is Diana. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC/LMHC) in multiple states, including CT, AK, MA, RI, TX and FL. I earned a Master's Degree in Art Therapy/Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College. I am a registered Art Therapist and Play Therapist, with over 12 years experience working with children, adolescents and adults. I have significant experience working with active duty Service members and military families worldwide.
I’m a trauma-informed therapist who helps adults heal from anxiety, trauma, burnout, and painful relationship patterns using EMDR therapy and a mind-body approach. Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck in cycles of self-doubt, overwhelm, or disconnection, appearing “fine” on the outside while feeling anything but on the inside. My goal is to create a safe, grounding space where you can explore what’s beneath the surface, release what’s been weighing you down, and reconnect with the most authentic version of yourself.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is at the heart of my work. It’s an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer carry the same emotional intensity. Through gentle bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping), the mind can integrate painful experiences in a more adaptive way. Clients often describe EMDR as life-changing- it allows healing to occur on a deeper, neurological level, often when talk therapy alone hasn’t been enough. My style is collaborative, intuitive, and compassionate. I’ll meet you exactly where you are, while gently challenging patterns that no longer serve you. Together, we’ll help you feel safe in your body, clear in your mind, and at peace within yourself.
“As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has—or ever will have—something inside that is unique to all time. It’s our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression.” —Fred Rogers
Not to steal from Mr. Rogers, but that is what I love about therapy--the uniqueness of each individual that I meet and the opportunity to collaborate with them to move forward in life with the resources needed for self-healing and an increased awareness of their own value, relationship building skills, and confidence in their ability to handle and resolve conflict in its many forms. I am a relational, somatic, harm reductionist practitioner. I believe therapy looks different for each person, and taking the time to figure out what that looks like together is a meaningful part of our work in itself. I am not afraid to challenge you, but I will also be a safe place for you to land--I'll make you a cup of tea or join you in throwing things at my wall. I celebrate whimsy and I honor deep internal rage, because life is a spectrum, and healing doesn't happen in a linear or organized way most of the time. We're all enigmas, and isn't that the most fascinating and wonderful thing! We all deserve someone who will take the time to learn who we are; I hope you'll grant me the honor of allowing me to know you.
Welcome to M.A.D. Therapy, LLC! I am Misty Annette Diaz and we’re all M.A.D. here. You are no longer alone because I am here to join you. We will re-evaluate boundaries and increase self-confidence and self-validation. We will develop strong coping skills and self-soothing techniques. I guide my clients out of survival mode into the present moment. I incorporate trauma informed yoga to reset the nervous system. I am EMDR trained. In-person & in-home case-by-case. Stay safe and talk soon.

I am a dedicated social worker who has served individuals and families since 2004. My background spans foster care, behavioral health, crisis-prevention programs, medical social work, and long-term care coordination for clients receiving Medicaid services. I’ve also supported families navigating court involvement, custody disputes, parental conflict, and adolescent drug-prevention programs. I work with a steady, compassionate, and practical approach—drawing on CBT, Christian counseling when desired, and years of multidisciplinary experience to help clients create meaningful and lasting change.
I’m Janet Worley, LMFT and founder of Worley Wellness Counseling. I work with couples and individuals navigating relationship stress, communication struggles, emotional disconnection, and life transitions. Many of the people I work with care deeply about their relationships but feel stuck in painful patterns that leave them feeling hurt, misunderstood, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, practical, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to be vulnerable, and empowered enough to create meaningful change. Rather than offering judgment or one-size-fits-all advice, I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and challenged toward growth.
A large part of my work focuses on helping people understand the deeper patterns underneath conflict and distress. Whether you find yourself caught in recurring arguments, struggling to communicate, feeling emotionally disconnected, or carrying wounds that continue to impact your relationships, therapy can help bring clarity and create new ways of relating.
I use an integrative approach that blends attachment-focused work, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method interventions, DBT-informed skills, and practical problem-solving strategies. This allows us to explore not only what is happening, but why it is happening and how to begin changing it.
My goal is to help couples and individuals move beyond conflict, disconnection, and unhealthy patterns toward greater understanding, emotional safety, stronger communication, and more fulfilling relationships—with others and with themselves. I believe healing and change are possible, and you do not have to figure it all out alone.

Hello! I am licensed social worker serving clients throughout the state of Michigan. I graduated with my MSW from Grand Valley State University in 2013. It is my commitment to provide support and understanding to my clients through compassion, non-judgmental listening, and empathy. I strive to create a safe place for clients to explore and heal from their internal wounds and anxieties. There is no one-size-fits-all in counseling and you might not know how you feel or where to go from here. That is a place where I will meet you; collaborating with you to help you through the indecisiveness at your level of comfort. Anxiety, depression, and the many symptoms they create are the hallmarks of what can block our progress.

Hi there!
Firstly, I want to validate the courage it takes to consider therapy—taking that first step to seek help is a sign of strength. While therapy doesn’t offer quick fixes, I’ve had the privilege of helping many clients better understand themselves, allowing them to navigate life’s challenges in more authentic and meaningful ways. I am excited to begin our therapeutic journey together.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas and a Board-Certified Art Therapist.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with individuals and families of all ages and of various backgrounds in schools, treatment centers, and community mental health settings. I take a holistic, person-centered approach to therapy, with a focus on finding solutions that honor each person’s unique background and needs. I also draw from various therapeutic modalities, including Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Art Therapy.
I’m especially passionate about supporting teens and young adults and in working with new and expecting mothers. I specialize in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Art Therapy to help clients heal and thrive.
I also provide supervision to ATR-P licensees seeking supervision towards their Registered Art Therapist licensure (ATR).
I work with couples and individuals who are ready to feel more connected, steady, and confident in their relationships and lives. Whether you're navigating relationship strain, anxiety, depression, or a major life transition, therapy can be a space to slow down, gain clarity, and create meaningful change. My approach is warm, grounded, and practical. I aim to help you feel more secure in yourself, more connected in your relationships, and more aligned with the life you want to live.
I am a seasoned counselor familiar with adolescents, issues of personal development, empowerment, issues about personal power, overcoming fear, and identifying values. I value honesty, courage, self-actualization and altruism. I have worked almost exclusively with males. I see the world from a male perspective because that's the point of view I have experienced life through. I have spent years in the gym. I am a musician, and I play out somewhere every week.
There are a few high-stakes, difficult life situations I want to address here: If you are afraid of your child setting a fire, trying to get a gun, or stealing from you in plain sight, reach out. If your child is being bullied, I might be able to help him to acquire the skills necessary to hold his own in life. Finally, if you or a family member is being stalked or threatened by someone, I may be able to professionally assess the danger.
Hi there and welcome!
My name is Vanessa Almodovar, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas with 15 years of professional experience, about 5 of those directly in therapy. I deeply believe that healing and restoration is possible in our lives and that we are more than our circumstances.
Life can become overwhelming sometimes; but with support, encouragement, and guidance, it is possible to see growth and life change. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where you can share at your own pace.
Life can feel overwhelming, and sometimes it’s hard to share those feelings with the people closest to us. Past experiences often have a way of creeping into the present—maybe you’ve wondered why you react a certain way or find yourself repeating patterns that don’t serve you. Together, we can get to the root of these struggles, work on healing the past, and create a more balanced present.
Reaching out for help can feel intimidating, but you’ve already taken that first step by being here. Give yourself grace as you move through this decision. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can begin your journey of self-discovery and healing.
I take a holistic, client-centered approach to therapy. Just as no two days are the same, no two clients are the same. I believe you are the expert in your life—you may not feel like you have the answers right now, but together, we’ll find what works best for you.
