I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and New Jersey. I graduated from Neumann University in Pennsylvania with a M.S. in Pastoral Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have been practicing for ten years. I help adults gain insight to a variety of life's problems through an ecumenical and wholistic approach. I assist clients with the development of tools and coping skills to better manage life's complications.
In our first session, expect a brief introduction and an overview of the therapy process. I will ask questions to gain a wholistic understanding of your challenges, roadblocks, and needs. This will help us to develop an individualized plan to address your concerns throughout therapy.
I provide a relaxed and judgement free atmosphere. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and to help you gain insight, tools, and skills to reach your full potential.
My clients are motivated for change and are ready to examine their thoughts and behaviors. They are open to new ways of managing and resolving issues so they can reach their full potential.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have been using CBT for the past eight years in therapy to help clients gain understanding of how their thoughts, emotions, and behavior are connected. This insight helps clients to re-examine unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, communication issues, and other problematic circumstances.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
In combination with CBT, I practice a Person-Centered approach. Using Person-Centered therapy, Clients and I explore incongruities between their ideal self and lived reality. I then assist Clients with reconciling these two selves using an empathetic, judgement-free, genuine, and compassionate approach that releases expectations and allows Clients to develop to their full potential.

Marcy has been such a light in my life especially during my darkest moments. I don't know where I would currently be without her.

She is amazing, she was warm and welcoming and made me feel good expressing myself. She was empowering and definitely made me challenge myself and my current perspective and that was just the first session.
