Welcome! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University and have been practicing for 7 years. I help adults (young and mature) struggling with life transitions, anxiety, depression, parenting issues, esteem issues, career stress and burnout to become the best versions of themselves. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I am client-centered and here to support you in taking the first steps to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, explore the concept of confidentiality and the limitations that I am upheld by. We will then explore chief concerns -the specific challenges you're facing and the reason you are seeking out counseling. This will help me create a tailored treatment plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. We will then explore my therapeutic approach and modalities used to assure that I will be a good fit for your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with individuals for the past 7 years focusing on CBT & anxiety, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious. I provide lots of psychoeducation in my therapy to help figure out the "why" and "how" of things - so it is essential that my clients are eager to learn as well and like to have integrative therapy.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a short-term form of behavioral treatment. It helps people problem-solve. CBT also reveals the relationship between beliefs, thoughts, and feelings, and the behaviors that follow. We will learn to re-write to script of any negative thoughts you are having and learn healthier, more balanced perspectives
