LCSW, 9 years of experience
Hi, I’m Stasia Manak. I’ve spent over 9 years working alongside people as they face life’s challenges—whether it’s trauma, relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, grief, or just feeling lost. I work with teens and adults (13+) and believe in building a strong, collaborative relationship in therapy. My goal is to help you feel more comfortable, confident, and grounded in your life, one step at a time.
In our first session, I create a safe, welcoming space where we go over the basics—like confidentiality and how therapy works with me—while also giving you plenty of room to share your story, what’s bringing you in, and anything you’d like me to know about who you are.
One of my greatest strengths is creating a space where you feel truly heard and never judged. I bring active listening, cultural sensitivity, and a deep respect for your lived experience into every session. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), positive psychology, and mindfulness to build a collaborative, supportive approach that fits your needs. Upon request, I’m also able to integrate a spiritual or Christian lens into our work, offering a more holistic path to healing.
Do you ever feel like life just won’t let up—and you can barely catch your breath, let alone find your footing? If you're ready to have honest, compassionate conversations with a therapist who will support and gently challenge you at your own pace, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Let’s start that journey together.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps us explore how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are deeply connected—and how they can either support us or hold us back. In our work together, CBT gives us a framework to better understand these patterns and shift them in ways that serve your well-being. A big part of this approach involves learning real-life skills you can use outside of sessions, helping you manage challenges more confidently and feel more in control day to day.
Positive psychology identifies and builds your unique strengths, values, and resilience. It focuses on what’s already working in your life and uses that as a foundation for growth. In our work together, I’ll honor your expertise in your own story as we build a partnership that’s tailored to your needs—helping you move toward greater meaning, confidence, and well-being
When requested, therapy can also include a faith-based perspective—exploring how your beliefs shape the way you see the world and navigate life’s challenges. This approach integrates the tools of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Positive Psychology within the framework of your spiritual values, offering a culturally respectful and holistic path to healing, growth, and meaning.
