New to Grow
With over two decades of experience supporting children, individuals, and families, my career has been defined by a deep commitment to the counseling profession. My journey began in social work, evolved through dedicated years in education, and expanded into private practice. Today, alongside working directly with clients, I also mentor and supervise the next generation of aspiring counselors as they work toward full licensure. Throughout my diverse roles, I have developed a clinical approach rooted in warmth, empathy, and genuine understanding. I work effectively with children, teenagers, and adults, helping them navigate life’s complex challenges. My primary goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can freely explore your feelings, uncover your innate strengths, and confidently map out your own path forward.
I view our very first session as the foundation of a partnership—one built entirely on trust, respect, and authenticity. There is no pressure to have everything figured out when you walk through the door. Instead, this initial time together is a gentle, collaborative space for me to learn about your story, understand what brought you to therapy, and discuss what you hope to achieve in both the short and long term. Together, we will start exploring your goals at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.
As a client-centered therapist, my greatest strength lies in my ability to build deep, genuine connections rooted in empathy and unconditional positive regard. I work intentionally to cultivate a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can feel entirely safe expressing your full, authentic self. Clients often describe my style as present, transparent, and grounded in clarity. Rather than directing your path or offering rigid formulas, I focus on truly hearing and understanding your unique experience. By reflecting your story with warmth and authenticity, I help you tap into your own innate capacity for growth, empowering you to discover the solutions and path forward that align with who you are.
I work best with children, teens, and women. I have experience working with individuals with ADHD and school difficulties. I have experience working with women dealing with anxiety and relationship issues. I have experience as a school counselor and I have a knowledge of special education and serve as an educational diagnostician in my day job. I am very familiar with navigating education systems.
