My mission and purpose is to empower individuality and uniqueness by helping people work through past traumas and/or adversities that has interrupted their peace to reclaim their life. If you are looking for a therapist or life coach who will listen effectively to your unique perspectives without judgement and provide an approach tailored to your individual needs, then you have found your match.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

YOU will be provided personalized therapy services to support your individual needs. YOU deserve to live your life to the fullest without apology. Settling to please others at the expense of your mental health will return no rewards. Choosing YOU is not always easy. Yet, the freedom in doing so is worth it.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a survivor of trauma myself, I engage with my clients on a deeper level of understanding knowing that it is a major ordeal to get back on track and reclaim your control. It is important for me to explore my clients needs and assess their situations to better suite their preferred narrative and desired goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Using CBT has been beneficial in my approach with my clients as it is an essential component for combating the trauma-brain (survival-mode) bringing a combination of cognitive and behavioral therapy that allows my clients to focus on solving their current problems and/or navigate through life's transitions. It's a collaborative effort, and process, between the client and therapist to modify thought and behavior patterns to clearly analyze challenging situations and respond to them effectively to improve their quality of life.

Trauma Informed Care

I use Trauma Informed Care (TIC) as an approach to understanding the dynamics of my clients personal experiences which has led to their current behaviors and thought processes. As a trauma therapist, and a survivor of trauma, helping individuals who have experienced trauma or dangerous situations and understanding that trauma allows them to become aware of the effect it has on their lives. Together we come to terms with, and consider, the pervasive nature of trauma and promote engaging in environments of healing and recovery.

Family Therapy

Improving relationships within the family systems starts with each individual having a voice and their own perspectives that can be appreciated and accepted to improve the sum of all parts. each person plays a role in the family dynamic and contributes their own unique qualities.

Couples Counseling

Working with couples to gather their personal experiences to share in therapy has been beneficial in understanding their partners thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This creates a path to compassion and grace that will allow each individual to look at their partner through a different lens.
