Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. I have been in private practice for over 20 years. My specializations include, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Family and Marital Therapy, as well as years of experience with Chronic Pain Management. I have provided therapy both in the general population and to the military/veteran communities, particularly to those wanting to rely less on medication to resolve their issues.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will listen carefully to the current set of circumstances, and possibly do a jump-starting exercise if appropriate to your case. These initial exercises tend to be very good preparation for engaging in a powerful therapeutic experience. I will listen to your story in your words, and will carefully observe the most important and influential details in order to most efficiently remedy the current set of issues. It will be good and probably even be fun to talk everything out, as we pursue the relief you need.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider include listening skills and careful observation of reactions. Also, I am a natural brainstormer, so coming up with creative and more importantly, functional and effective therapeutic recommendations designed to support strong coping systems, is more or less second nature at this point.
