My approach to working with individuals is to work with you at your own pace. I will allow you to learn strategies and practice them in your life in a way that empowers you. The path to getting to a place you strive for may be difficult, but I hope to have the opportunity to help you reach a destination of peace, comfort, and strength.
In our first session, we will focus on your story to develop a plan tailored to your unique situation. My hope is that this initial step will build the trust and openness necessary for our cooperative journey together.
My strength lies in connecting with your hardships and finding ways to transform them into opportunities for personal growth. I have experienced many of life's setbacks myself, and I will do my best to relate to your journey so that you do not feel alone. I believe we are all looking for ways to succeed and find balance, allowing us to truly enjoy the meaningful moments in our lives. I look forward to supporting you in this process.
My dream client is one who is ready to change. That has a mindset on learning and focusing on what they can do to improve their lives. They can be young or old, but have the ability to focus on thinking outside their perspective. Life transition, career building, depression, anxiety, and trauma would be areas with which I would feel comfortable.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I have been trained in ACT and use it to help clients look at their values to help them steer their lives towards a more fulfilling direction.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I’ve been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and use it to help clients challenge their negative thoughts in order to focus on building a more positive outlook.
