About me

You may look like you have everything together on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or uncertain about how to move forward. I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, women's issues, life transitions, and LGBTQ+ related concerns. Many of my clients come to therapy during periods of change, loss, self discovery, or emotional distress when the strategies that once worked no longer seem enough. Whether you're struggling with persistent worry, processing difficult experiences, navigating relationship challenges, rebuilding your confidence, or trying to better understand yourself, therapy can provide a space to pause, reflect, and heal. My goal is to help you gain greater clarity, reconnect with your strengths, and create a life that feels more aligned with your values, needs, and sense of purpose.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

You can expect a warm, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported throughout your therapeutic journey. I believe meaningful change happens within a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and collaboration. As we work together, you can develop greater self awareness, healthier coping strategies, stronger confidence, improved relationships, and a deeper connection to your values and goals. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, identity concerns, life transitions, or emotional overwhelm, my goal is to help you feel empowered to move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and self acceptance. You do not have to navigate these challenges alone.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe therapy is most effective when it focuses on the whole person rather than simply addressing symptoms. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in understanding the experiences, relationships, and patterns that influence emotional wellbeing. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Strength Based Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Schema Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs. Together, we may explore anxiety, trauma, depression, identity development, relationship concerns, self esteem challenges, emotional regulation, and life transitions while building practical tools that support meaningful and lasting change. Therapy is designed to help you better understand yourself, strengthen resilience, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who may look like they’re holding it all together on the outside but feels overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or exhausted on the inside. I especially enjoy working with adults navigating life transitions, relationship and family stress, trauma, ADHD, high-functioning anxiety, identity concerns, or the pressure to constantly “have it together.” I value working with clients who are ready to better understand themselves, break patterns that are no longer serving them, and develop practical tools for creating meaningful change. My goal is to provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can show up as they are—messy, uncertain, overwhelmed, or even unsure where to begin—and feel genuinely heard and understood.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge beliefs that may be keeping them stuck, and develop more balanced, realistic ways of thinking. I also incorporate practical strategies clients can use between sessions to manage symptoms and create meaningful change in their daily lives.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients develop a healthier relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions rather than feeling controlled by them. We explore what matters most to the client, identify patterns that may be getting in the way, and build practical skills for moving toward a life that feels more meaningful and aligned with their values—even when discomfort is part of the process.

Compassion Focused

I use Compassion-Focused Therapy to help clients develop a kinder and more supportive relationship with themselves, particularly when they struggle with shame, self-criticism, or feeling like they’re never “doing enough.” We work on understanding where these patterns come from and developing self-compassion, emotional regulation, and more balanced ways of responding to difficult experiences.

Schema Therapy

I use Schema Therapy to help clients understand the deeper patterns and beliefs that developed from earlier experiences and may still influence how they see themselves, relate to others, and respond to situations today. Together, we identify these patterns, explore where they come from, and develop healthier ways of meeting emotional needs and responding to life’s challenges.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use a person-centered approach by creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and accepted for who they are. I believe clients are the experts on their own lives, and I work collaboratively with them to understand their experiences, identify what they need, and support them in creating change at their own pace.
