In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then discuss the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. We can begin discussing your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with high acuity patients, I can help through acute struggles and anxiety, and when someone feels like they "have no coping skills" I also am able to help with grounding techniques and managing emotional regulation. Additionally, I love working with college students and adults navigating the life transitions and “adulting”.

I love working with adults of all ages who are navigating the ever-changing journey of life. I also enjoy helping those wanting to manage anxiety, depression, relationship/family issues, drug/alcohol addiction, life transitions, grief, cultural issues, Neurodivergence, veteran/military support, LGBTQIA+ support, and dating. Often, clients feel stuck and don't know where to begin.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT to explore mindfulness, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance. It’s helped clients better manage their moods, set healthier boundaries, communicate more effectively, and build stronger relationships.

Motivational Interviewing

To help identify where progress stands for impulsive behaviors, addiction, self-harm, and other unwanted actions.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

It enhances in-the-moment strategies, short-term goals, focuses on strengths, and encourages changes for the future.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past five years, helping clients challenge recurring thoughts and better manage their anxiety. Together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect, and use that understanding to shift your thinking patterns. This can lead to a calmer, more peaceful, and less stressful life.
