I am an experienced counselor who has worked in a variety of mental health settings. I really want to focus on forming a quality therapeutic relationship so we get comfortable discussing what has been troubling you lately. I want our relationship to allow us to talk about simple easy things as well as complicated long standing issues whenever the time arises.
In our sessions, you can expect a warm, casual environment where you can be your authentic self. We won’t just sit in the heavy stuff; we’ll work on practical tools so you leave feeling lighter and more capable of handling whatever the week throws at you.
The best indicator of successful therapy is a quality therapeutic relationship. The best "techniques" or "methods" are nothing without a genuine authentic connection between counselor and client. I believe my clients would confirm that we are able to be authentic with each other right from the very beginning.
I work with adults who are ready to move past the weight of anxiety and depression to build a life that actually feels good. Clients struggling with life transitions and phase of life problems are welcome. Clients who are ready to talk about some tough stuff and really get to work addressing what has been bothering them recently are encouraged!
