With all of my clients, the priority is to connect – connection breeds trust – trust breeds comfort – and when you’re comfortable within your environment, you have a good foundation from which to start venturing down the path of your individualized therapy. When you feel comfortable enough to be honest about your anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, relationship struggles, trauma, or life stressors, real work can begin. The reason why I choose the work I do, is because psychology is incredibly dynamic – no two people are the same. Many of us share similar moments in life, but the way in which those experiences affect us, is as individualized as each person I work with. That’s why I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy, your story deserves its own structure.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The way I approach therapy – it is uniquely structured for each person that I work with. There will always be a fundamental structure guiding the process, but I’m a big believer that we collectively walk down your uniquely individualized path. The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I describe my approach a "direct but gentle" - we try and identify the challenges, and then find the best ways that you individually can approach them.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are resilient individuals and couples who may feel stuck in patterns of conflict, disconnection, or emotional distress. They are ready to move from merely surviving to truly thriving — whether they are rebuilding trust after betrayal, improving co-parenting, healing from trauma, or strengthening their marriage. They value a collaborative, compassionate space and appreciate a therapist who honors their existing strengths while gently challenging them to grow, communicate more effectively, and create deeper, healthier connections.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a practical, evidence-based tool to help clients create meaningful change. CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In session, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns (such as all-or-nothing thinking, catastrophizing, or mind-reading) that contribute to conflict, anxiety, depression, or relationship distress. For couples, I use CBT to help partners recognize how their interpretations of each other’s actions fuel arguments, then replace them with more balanced, compassionate perspectives. For individuals, we work on reframing trauma-related thoughts or negative self-beliefs. I also assign gentle between-session exercises — thought records, behavioral experiments, or communication practice — so clients can apply new skills in real time. I don’t use CBT rigidly. I blend it with relational and trauma-informed approaches so it feels collaborative and respectful of your unique story. Many clients appreciate how CBT gives them concrete tools while we also explore deeper emotions and family dynamics.
