My focus is reconciliation. Healing is often achieved through us becoming reconciled with self and/or others. It can be a process that allows us to identify and modify our thoughts and behaviors. We are all a work in progress and rightly so as circumstances are constantly changing. I believe that each person should have an opportunity to express themselves in a safe, nurturing, judgement free zone. As we seek to gain an understanding of self and others, often we experience a shift in our processing. If you are stuck or it feels like you are spinning out of control like a hamster on a wheel, let’s talk about “it”.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our initial consultation we can explore your concerns while establishing rapport, review therapeutic guidelines and relevant history. The information disclosed will be used to develop a baseline for future treatment that will be discussed in follow up sessions.

I am committed to being compassionate, solution focused and fully present for you during each session. Assessments are offered to assist us in reviewing and addressing patterns to increase understanding. I am conscious of your schedule and offer alternative availability whenever possible for scheduling.

My ideal client is open to exploring healthy lifestyle choices that emphasize solutions through a balance of psychology and spirituality. I specialize in anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, grief and life transitions. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is my preferred modality with emphasis on Solution Focused Brief Therapy strategies. I prefer and have experience working with clients ages 14 yrs through adult.

CBT has been my treatment method of choice for over 25 years. It offers structure and strategies that greatly facilitate the therapeutic process. CBT allows individuals an opportunity to gain insight into the link between their feelings, thoughts and behaviors.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution Focused Brief Treatment (SFBT) is used to project a collaborative, goal oriented approach. I offer an opportunity for individuals to be fully heard and valued from a person centered perspective.
