New to Grow
Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with adolescents and young adults navigating life transitions, stress, and emotional challenges. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), while also incorporating Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you better understand and process your emotions. Together, we’ll work to reframe unhelpful thought patterns, process past experiences, and build practical tools to help you feel more confident, balanced, and in control.
During your first session, you can expect a relaxed, welcoming space where we begin getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, any concerns or goals you may have, and a bit about your background so I can better understand your experiences. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll also explain how I work, answer any questions you have, and collaborate with you on what you’d like to focus on moving forward. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and a little more at ease about the process.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being open and authentic. I’m naturally empathetic and easy to talk to, which helps build strong, trusting relationships. What sets my approach apart is the balance I bring between emotional support and practical tools. I help clients not only process their experiences and feelings, but also actively work on reframing unhelpful thought patterns and developing skills they can use in their everyday lives. Using approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), I tailor each session to meet clients where they are—supporting both insight and real, lasting change.
I love working with adolescents and young adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of themselves. This stage of life can come with a lot of change and pressure, and I enjoy creating a supportive space where clients can process their experiences, build confidence, and learn tools to navigate life with more clarity and ease. My goal is to support clients in developing insight, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies during this important stage of growth and development.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients gently explore the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we take time to process life experiences and identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck or overwhelmed. I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel truly heard and understood, while also guiding them in reframing unhelpful thoughts into more balanced and compassionate perspectives. My goal is to empower clients with practical tools and insights they can carry into their everyday lives, helping them feel more confident, grounded, and in control.
Cognitive Processing (CPT)
I use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to gently support clients in making sense of difficult or traumatic experiences. Together, we explore how these experiences may have shaped their thoughts and beliefs, and work to shift patterns that feel heavy or overwhelming. I aim to create a safe, supportive space where clients can process at their own pace while building more balanced, compassionate ways of thinking and feeling.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Instead of pushing feelings away, we gently explore them together to understand what they’re telling you and how they shape your experiences. This process can help you feel more in control of your emotions, improve relationships, and respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
