About me

Hi there. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is licensed in the state of Texas. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2017 with an MS in Counseling. I have spent time working in inpatient psychiatric, residential and outpatient treatment centers, and private practice. My focus is PTSD/trauma, anxiety, and relationships. I also have experience with depression, bipolar disorder and substance abuse disorders.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we will spend some time getting to know each other and really being specific about what you are wanting/needing and what goals you have for therapy. Much of the first few sessions will be about building trust and really getting as much information as possible. Once we have enough information we can start to look at patterns and themes of your life and then explore solutions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist are my commitment to finding answers and in doing so in a way that is gentle, warm, and caring. My approach will depend very much on what it is you are needing so there is room for creativity and the work will always be special and unique with each person that comes to me.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

The clients I am best positioned to serve are anyone seeking a greater understanding of self and those seeking a greater enjoyment of life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is based on the understanding that our emotional experiences are directly related to our thoughts, beliefs, and actions – and therefore, it is possible to change our emotional experiences by examining and altering our thoughts and behaviors.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

As one of the most common types of humanistic psychology, this group of therapies is built on the idea that humans are inherently good and have the potential to grow in positive ways.

Sean has come through for me during serval difficult moments in my life. He listened with care, made me feel seen and understood, and truly helped me feel supported when I needed it the most. I’m deeply grateful for his presence and the space he created during a time when I felt overwhelmed and alone.
