New to Grow
I work with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, mood and personality disorders, and grief. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I strive to create a space where you will feel truly heard and supported, while also gently challenging you toward growth, healing, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. You're in charge and I am here to guide and support you on this journey.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we'll get to know each other and talk through what's bringing you to therapy. I'll ask about your history, current concerns, and what you hope to change. Together, We'll begin identifying goals and outline a plan so you leave feeling clear, supported, and confident about next steps.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out is my balance of warmth and structure. I create a safe, validating space while also offering practical tools and gentle accountability. Clients often gain deeper insight, stronger emotional regulation skills, and clearer boundaries leading to meaningful, sustainable change rather than short-term relief.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I'm a strong fit for clients who are ready to look inward and do meaningful work. You may be motivated for growth but need structure, skills, and support to move forward. If your goals include clearer boundaries, emotional steadiness, and living more aligned with your values, we'll work well together.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
You don't have to "fix" every thought or eliminate every hard feeling to move forward. Using ACT, I help you learn how to step back from overwhelming thoughts, make space for difficult emotions, and reconnect with what truly matters to you. Together, we'll focus on building a meaningful, values-driven life, even in the middle of anxiety, trauma, grief, or relationship struggles.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Using CBT, I help you identify unhelpful thought patterns, understand how they impact your emotions and behaviors, and develop practical tools to create real change. Together, we'll build skills that help you feel more balanced, confident, and in control of your life.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
When your emotions feel intense or relationships feel overwhelming, it can be hard to know how to respond in the moment. Using DBT, I help you build skills for managing big emotions, set healthy boundaries, and respond instead of react. Together, we'll work on creating stability, strengthening relationships, and helping you feel more grounded and in control.
