My name is Mohammed Ramanu, and I am eager to collaborate with you to provide specialized care for you. Your journey towards internal healing starts here with me. I provide active listening, emotional support and empathy. I do not judgement my clients, but rather assist them to have an insight of their problems and together we come up with solutions. I have been practicing for over five years and provide psychotherapy for clients from the ages of 18 years and above. I have also been providing psychotherapy for seniors who are 85 years and above who need emotional support. My specialties include depressing, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD, alcohol and substance addictions and other mental health issues. I am also available for individuals, families in crises , couples, and men issues. My therapy sessions I used Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Strength Therapy and among others.
In my first session I get to know you, understanding why you are seeking therapy and establishing a safe trusting environment. I provide the environment to for you to narrate your story and assure you of confidentiality. and rules around it.
My greatest strengths are that I provide active listing, empathy and nonjudgmental. I do not impose my views of the problems and the solutions on you. Rather I provide you with the skills necessary to find solutions and ways to resolve it.
I work with clients age 18 and above. I work with clients who are straight, LGBTQ community and it does not matter to me which gender. I also do provide psychotherapy for seniors who are 85+ who need emotional support to deal with their last stages of life. Families are often stressed and I do provide the family emotional support in the critical stage of their love ones.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
i use structured and goal-oriented form of psychotherapy that focuses on breaking the cycle of negative thoughts, emotions and behaviors. By changing distorted thinking and unhelpful behaviors, individuals learn practical skills to improve their mental health and manage issues like anxiety, depression, and stress.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use a short term, goal-oriented therapeutic approach that emphasizes building solutions, identifying existing strengths and envisioning a preferred future rather than analyzing past problems
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I also use a highly structured psychotherapy to assist my clients manage intense emotions, reduce self destructive behaviors and improve relationships.
