About me

I'm Tree, a therapist who helps overwhelmed or stuck adults find their feet again and feel like themselves. Life moves fast, and it is easy to lose your footing when you are juggling too much. I specialize in supporting busy adults who are managing anxiety and trying to set healthy boundaries. My goal is to help you regain a true sense of control over your life. I offer confidential, tailored strategies, that can help reduce burnout, manage anxiety or depression, assist with interpersonal relationships, process grief, and keep you functioning at a happy and healthy level.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

It is important to provide comfort and support while we work together to achieve your goals for therapy. Our first visit will be a confidential "getting to know you" session. I want to gather as much information as possible by completing an assessment designed to provide an accurate description of the total person. I want this to be a safe, open space where you can say whatever is on your mind without judgment, ask anything you need to, and feel completely comfortable with me. It takes a lot of strength to seek out therapy, and I want to ensure that you feel able to trust me and work as a team to improve your quality of life.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach focuses on building a warm, trusting connection to make therapy feel safe and collaborative, rather than clinical. My goal is for our work together to feel like a true collaboration. I want this to be a warm, safe place where you never have to fear judgment. Every session is shaped entirely around what you bring into the room, your situation, mental health goals, and what you need on that specific day.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My goal is to offer a non-judgmental space that fosters therapeutic processing of difficult emotions, thoughts, or memories and provides an opportunity for meaningful healing. I want to be a collaborative and versatile guide through your positive mental health journey. I want to focus on deep listening and reflecting your feelings, so you are truly heard and your feelings are validated. I am highly skilled at adapting techniques to fit your unique needs, personality, and current life situation.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Using ACT in therapy sessions, my goal is to focus less on the symptomology of a problem, and more on accepting our lived experiences. When we use this approach, we create an opportunity for a shift in thinking that allows us to be present in that moment, with less stress.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT therapy is a way for us to re-examine any negative thought patterns or behavior that may be creating our feelings of anxiety or depression. This treatment allows us to structure sessions around achieving therapeutic goals.
