Hi there, I'm Sophia.
I know it can be scary and uncomfortable asking for help; I'm here to be a guide as you maneuver through this interesting journey we call life. I can offer a safe space where we can look at the parts and pieces you don't share with others and put them back together again. Becoming more aware of how we perceive and interact with the world and those around us can be challenging but I am here to help find a way.
I am passionate about providing a compassionate and nonjudgemental experience; I want to meet you where you are and provide a framework we can work towards in effort to bring about lasting change. Whether you feel overwhelmed by life's challenges or want to get into a healthier frame of mind, I'm here to help.
I am a licensed therapist with 7 years experience supporting individuals with navigating the day-to-day and life transitions in the midst of experiencing anxiety, depression, and other challenges. I utilize talk therapy and operate from a person-centered approach to help form a trusting relationship where you feel safe and comfortable opening up. I like to consider my approach to therapy eclectic. Each person has different needs and what works for one does not work for all. I like to be creative with each of my clients and find the treatment modality that will work best for them and their situation. I personally have struggled with my own anxiety and panic attacks since I was a child. This is what led me to want to be a therapist to help others.
I am a therapist specializing in adult mental health and addiction disorders. I have 11 years of experience providing individual, group, and couples therapy. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
*NOTE: I offer couples counseling that is self-pay only at $150 per hour. I am at capacity but will consider cash pay only. I offer Individual counseling billed through insurance or self-pay at $100 per hour. I offer Board of Nursing evaluations that are billed out-of-pocket due to the extensive paperwork/correspondence involved. However, follow-up visits can be billed through insurance if I am in-network with the insurance company. There is a no-show fee of $100. There is a late cancellation (less than 24 hours) fee of $100.
My mission is to be used by God to help others reach their highest potential and purpose in life; to represent and teach tolerance, respect, and harmony; and to promote social and economic justice.
I believe that all people regardless of race, culture, age, gender, religion, and sexual orientation are entitled to basic rights and fair, humane treatment. I believe that all members of society should have the same basic rights, protections, opportunities, obligations, and social benefits.
My practice is governed by the belief that you are a valuable human being. You have the right to express your ideas and opinions openly. You have the right to direct and govern your life. You have the right to stand up for yourself without anxiety and make choices that are good for you. You have the right to change your mind. You have the right to not be liked by everyone. You have the right to be wrong. You have the right to make requests and refuse them without feeling guilty.
My name is Meghan Gilbert and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. I have had the opportunity to provide individual and group therapy, case management, consultations, and supervision to diverse populations.
I generally practice from the cognitive behavioral and humanistic perspective to help people to evaluate their feelings and their circumstances in relation to the world around them and to help reconstruct their thinking in relation to their challenges and past trauma. Through the humanistic approach, I am able to view the whole person as an individual in relation to their problems and focus on their strengths or positive traits to help empower them to create change in their lives. I also provide solution-focused therapy to help people to strategize how to reach their goals and manage life's challenges in a health manner. I’m Jeff. I know that there are so many misguided beliefs about therapy that it can seem too overwhelming to give it a try. However, as your therapist, it’s my job to coach you through the discomfort and encourage you to make insights into lasting change. Therapy doesn’t have to be a complete upheaval process or drastic edit to your identity. I work with my clients by empowering them to hone in on their strengths and believe in their desired outcomes. With small, thoughtful reflections and inspired actions, we can improve your life exponentially.

My experience covers a plethora of ages and diagnosis across many settings. My determination to treat and support those with mental health diagnosis during the pandemic inspired me to perform outpatient therapy via telehealth to adults and adolescents.
