New to Grow
I am a licensed therapist who works with adults navigating the ups and downs of life, meeting you wherever you are in your mental health journey and helping you build on the strengths you already have. I believe therapy can bring clarity, ease distress, uncover what truly matters to you, and support you in moving forward. Together, we’ll create a safe and supportive space to explore challenges and find your way toward greater understanding, balance, and well-being. I bring a grounded, compassionate presence to our work, creating an environment where you can feel comfortable bringing whatever is on your mind. My approach is calm, lighthearted, and sometimes a little quirky. If you’re a dog lover, I’d be happy to introduce you to my furry “co-therapists,” who are always eager for attention.
In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. We'll review your current concerns, relevant history, and what you're hoping to gain from the process. I'll also share how I work and begin identifying initial goals so you leave with a clearer sense of direction and next steps.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to combine evidenced-based approaches like CBT, trauma-informed care, and solution focused therapy into a practical, results-driven process. I don't just focus on insight, I help clients turn that insight into meaningful change through concrete skills and strategies. Clients often leave sessions feeling more in control of their thoughts, more confident in their decisions, and better equipped to handle challenges in their daily lives.
My ideal clients are adults 18+ who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or life transitions and are ready to create meaningful change. Many struggle with setting boundaries, managing relationships, or feeling stuck n patterns that no longer serve them. I take a trauma informed approach, recognizing how past experiences can shape current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and I prioritize a safe, supportive space where clients feel in control of the process. I work well with individuals who are open to learning new skills, increasing self-awareness, and building practical tools. Together we focus on sustainable change so clients can feel more confidant, balanced, and empowered.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and develop practical skills to challenge and reframe them. My approach is collaborative and focused on building tools client can use in their everyday lives.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients process and heal from past traumatic experiences. This approach supports clients in understanding how trauma impacts thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building coping skills to manage distress. We move at a pace that feels safe, with a focus on both stabilization and gradual processing.
