“Trauma-focused therapy is at the heart of my practice, and I offer a warm, supportive space for healing and growth.” I’ve been a therapist for more than 38 years, and I bring a steady, compassionate approach to helping adults through a wide range of challenges. Over the past 16 years, I worked in two Veterans Outpatient Clinics, where I had the privilege of supporting both male and female veterans. My areas of focus include trauma, PTSD, childhood sexual abuse, domestic abuse, relationship concerns, depression, and anxiety. My approach is to meet the client where they are and assist them in improving their lives.
“In our first session, we’ll begin building a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We’ll talk through your concerns, goals, and relevant history so I can better understand your experiences and begin creating a treatment plan tailored to your needs. That first meeting helps lay the foundation for trauma-focused work that feels supportive, collaborative, and grounded.”
“I approach therapy with warmth, optimism, and a strong focus on each client’s goals. I work collaboratively with clients to help them find practical solutions, build on their strengths, and move toward a fuller, more meaningful life.”
I do not have a preference regarding age or sex. I have spent many years working with all types of problems. My ideal client would be motivated for treatment, not court ordered. Someone wanting to understand their problems and seeking to develop positive coping skills to improve their life circumstances.
