Hi, I’m Lesley. I am a licensed therapist providing therapy to adults in Pennsylvania and Delaware. I often see people struggling with what I call “reality gaps”, which is the space between the life you have and the life you want. The wider that gap feels, the more distress tends to grow. My role is to meet you where you are and support you in bridging that gap. I have over a decade of experience working with adults and adolescents facing chronic depression, anxiety, attachment concerns, and relational conflict.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a chance to get oriented. We can talk about what brought you in and what you would like help with. You don’t need to prepare anything ahead of time. I work from a Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) lens, which focuses on building awareness around thoughts and emotions, breaking out of unhelpful patterns, and moving toward a life that feels more meaningful.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I often hear that I am thoughtful, detail-oriented, and kind. I use my clinical experience and background in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you understand yourself better, make sense of your emotions, build skills that actually feel usable.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client may feel stuck in unhelpful patterns or might be going through a difficult life transition.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I often work from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) perspective, which involves exploring the mind’s chatter, identifying unhelpful patterns, and understanding the larger systems you’re part of. ACT is a non-linear & flexible model that involves meeting clients where they are in the present moment.
