New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and clinically grounded environment for individuals and families navigating life’s most difficult challenges. Since earning my Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2004, I have spent over 15 years helping people move from places of uncertainty and pain toward clarity, resilience, and confidence. I have experience working inpatient and outpatient settings.
In our first session together, my primary focus is on getting to know you and providing a safe space where you can feel comfortable with the therapeutic process. We will spend time listening to your specific goals for therapy and discussing what you hope to achieve through our work together. This initial meeting is also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have about my approach or the logistics of our sessions, ensuring we establish a foundation of clarity and trust from the very start.
My strengths as a therapist include working with complex trauma, helping clients process difficult emotions, and knowing when it’s helpful to gently challenge patterns versus when it’s important to simply sit with and feel emotions. I’m passionate about helping clients recognize their strengths, build self-esteem, and develop a stronger sense of self-worth. Above all, I strive to meet each person where they are, creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space for growth and healing.
I enjoy working with individuals who may feel unsure about where to begin in therapy or who know something feels off but are having difficulty identifying exactly what’s wrong. My approach focuses on building a strong therapeutic alliance where we can work together in a supportive, nonjudgmental space to better understand your experiences, identify goals, and move toward improved mental health and overall well-being.
