New to Grow
You may be here because life feels overwhelming or you’re tired of carrying things on your own. As a licensed therapist in Pennsylvania, I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self‑doubt, and other stressors that can leave you feeling stuck or disconnected. My approach is warm, collaborative, and personalized to your story, goals, and pace. I use evidence‑based practices alongside compassion and curiosity to help clients build practical tools, feel more grounded and confident, and move toward healing. I also bring experience as a former law‑enforcement victim advocate, with special insight into supporting survivors of crime, including domestic violence.
Your first session is a welcoming space to connect and see if therapy feels like the right fit. We’ll talk about what brought you in, explore what you’re hoping for, and move at a pace that feels comfortable and safe. I’ll explain how I work and what to expect, and you’ll leave with a clear sense of next steps and how therapy can support you.
My strengths as a therapist include creating a grounded, supportive space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. I use a collaborative, trauma‑informed approach grounded in evidence‑based care, including EMDR, attachment‑focused therapy, and grief counseling. With experience supporting complex trauma and survivors of crime, I help clients build self‑awareness, practical skills, and a stronger sense of clarity, confidence, and stability.
I work best with clients who are curious, engaged, and ready to invest in their personal growth. I offer a variety of therapeutic approaches to find what best supports the needs and goals of the client. Our work is active and collaborative, with a focus on building self‑awareness, clarity, and confidence, along with between‑session practices to help apply therapy to everyday life.
Other specialties
I identify as
EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy that helps the brain heal from traumatic experiences. During EMDR, you briefly focus on a difficult memory while doing simple side‑to‑side movements, such as following a hand or gentle tapping. This process helps the memory become less upsetting and allows it to be stored as something that happened in the past, rather than something that feels overwhelming in the present. EMDR doesn’t require you to relive or talk in detail about the trauma, and many people experience relief more quickly than with talk therapy alone.
Grief Therapy
I am trained in grief counseling and use this approach in sessions to support clients as they navigate loss at their own pace. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where all grief responses are welcome, including sadness, anger, guilt, numbness, or mixed emotions. Rather than trying to resolve or rush grief, I help clients understand their experience, honor their relationship with what was lost, and find ways to move forward while carrying meaning and connection with them.
Trauma Informed Care
I work with complex trauma using an attachment‑focused approach that emphasizes safety, trust, and the therapeutic relationship. In counseling sessions, I help clients understand how early or repeated relational trauma can shape emotional regulation, self‑worth, and patterns in relationships. We move at a pace that feels safe, focusing first on stabilization and connection, while gently building the capacity to explore and heal deeper wounds. My goal is to support clients in developing a stronger sense of security within themselves and healthier, more satisfying relationships with others.
