You may be here because life feels overwhelming, your thoughts feel nonstop, or you’re exhausted from carrying everything on your own. As a licensed therapist in Pennsylvania, I support individuals who are working through anxiety, depression, trauma, self‑doubt, and the many stressors that can leave you feeling stuck or disconnected. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in real life. I don’t believe therapy should be one‑size‑fits‑all—your story, your needs, and your pace are central to our work together. In sessions, we’ll gently explore what’s been holding you back, develop practical skills you can use outside of therapy, and create a space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. I integrate evidence‑based therapeutic methods with compassion, curiosity, and deep respect for each client’s lived experience. Whether you’re looking to better manage emotions, improve focus, build confidence, or reconnect with yourself, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, capable, and empowered in your daily life. In addition to my clinical training, I am a former law‑enforcement victim advocate with experience supporting survivors of crime, including domestic violence. I understand how complex and isolating these experiences can be, and I am here to support you as you navigate your path toward healing and stability.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a chance for us to connect and for you to get a feel for whether this space feels right for you. It’s very common to arrive with a mix of emotions—curiosity, hope, nervousness, or uncertainty—and all of that is welcome here. During our first meeting, you can expect the following: We’ll begin with what led you to seek therapy. You’re invited to share at your own comfort level. There’s no expectation to tell your whole story or have clear answers. I’ll ask thoughtful, supportive questions to better understand what’s been weighing on you. We’ll talk about what you’re hoping for. Whether your goals feel clear or still a bit blurry, we’ll start identifying what you’d like to shift or improve—such as emotional balance, stress management, focus, or simply feeling more like yourself. I’ll introduce my approach. I’ll explain how I work, what sessions typically involve, and how we can partner together in the process. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions so you feel informed and grounded. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe. There’s no pressure to go deep immediately. Our focus is on building trust and creating a steady foundation for meaningful work over time. You’ll leave with clarity about next steps. By the end of the session, you should have a better sense of how therapy can support you and what moving forward might look like.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strengths as a therapist center on creating a grounded, supportive space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. I bring a collaborative, down‑to‑earth approach that honors each client’s unique experiences, goals, and pace, while drawing from evidence‑based, trauma‑informed care. With specialized training in EMDR, complex trauma, attachment‑focused therapy, and grief counseling—as well as experience as a former law‑enforcement victim advocate—I am well‑equipped to help clients navigate overwhelming experiences with clarity and stability. I value self‑awareness, practical skill‑building, and meaningful growth, and I am committed to helping clients feel more capable, connected, and confident in their lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are curious, engaged, and ready to invest in their personal growth. I offer a range of therapeutic approaches and enjoy collaborating with clients to find what feels most supportive for their unique needs and goals. One of the most meaningful parts of my work is witnessing clients’ self‑awareness deepen as they gain clarity and confidence in understanding themselves. Our work together is active and collaborative, and clients can expect thoughtful between‑session practices to help apply what we explore in therapy to everyday life.

My treatment methods

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy that helps the brain heal from traumatic experiences. During EMDR, you briefly focus on a difficult memory while doing simple side‑to‑side movements, such as following a hand or gentle tapping. This process helps the memory become less upsetting and allows it to be stored as something that happened in the past, rather than something that feels overwhelming in the present. EMDR doesn’t require you to relive or talk in detail about the trauma, and many people experience relief more quickly than with talk therapy alone.

Grief Therapy

I am trained in grief counseling and use this approach in sessions to support clients as they navigate loss at their own pace. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where all grief responses are welcome, including sadness, anger, guilt, numbness, or mixed emotions. Rather than trying to resolve or rush grief, I help clients understand their experience, honor their relationship with what was lost, and find ways to move forward while carrying meaning and connection with them.

Trauma Informed Care

I work with complex trauma using an attachment‑focused approach that emphasizes safety, trust, and the therapeutic relationship. In counseling sessions, I help clients understand how early or repeated relational trauma can shape emotional regulation, self‑worth, and patterns in relationships. We move at a pace that feels safe, focusing first on stabilization and connection, while gently building the capacity to explore and heal deeper wounds. My goal is to support clients in developing a stronger sense of security within themselves and healthier, more satisfying relationships with others.
