LCSW, 17 years of experience
New to Grow
Hello I am Christine Fallon a LCSW in Pennsylvania. I have been in practice for over 17 years. I have had extensive experience in anxiety disorders, mood disorders, depression, grief, trauma, and significant mental illness to include schizophrenia and bipolar disorders. I graduated from Marywood University and began my career. I enjoy helping others find a better way to thrive in this world where there is so much uncertainty we face. I have supervised other clinicians in the field to expand on their skills and begin their careers. It would be an honor to help you in any way I can.
In the first few sessions you can expect for you and I to build a foundation to explore reasons why you are in therapy, setting goals you want to achieve, and exploring ways to improve your mental health.
My practice is unique because I have been able to work with a wide range of disorders, stemming from personality disorders to schizophrenia to depression. I am passionate about helping others to achieve their maximum potential and helping others is very gratifying. Being a therapist has taught me how to thrive when life simply wants to bring you down.
Ready for a positive change? I am here to help guide you through your journey to be a better you. I focus on strengths and helping others maximize their potential. If you struggle with anxiety, depression, false beliefs, relationships, or other stressors please feel free to reach out to me. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also use a range of modalities ranging from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to Trauma focused therapy. I am here to meet you where you are and to build a better foundation for your future.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is widely used evidence-based psychotherapy that focuses on identifying and changing negative thoughts and patterns and behaviors. I utilize this method often in practice to help clients change behaviors and thoughts that impact them negatively.
I use motivational interviewing to help others resolve feelings of doubt and find the internal motivation to change behavior by exploring and resolving issues and concerns.
