LCSW, 10 years of experience
I’m a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to helping individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, and life transitions through a supportive, collaborative, and evidence-based approach. I provide therapy that blends compassion with practical tools—drawing from modalities like CBT, narrative therapy, and psychodynamic insight—to help clients understand themselves, heal from the past, and build more fulfilling lives. My goal is to create a safe space where you can be heard, challenged, and empowered
In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where we’ll begin by discussing what brings them to therapy and what they hope to gain from it. I’ll ask some background questions to better understand your history, current challenges, and goals. We’ll also talk about how I work, what therapy might look like moving forward, and address any questions you have. Most importantly, the first session is about building trust and creating a foundation for a supportive therapeutic relationship.
My greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel genuinely seen and heard, and my skill in helping clients connect the dots between past experiences and present challenges. I bring a grounded, trauma-informed approach that balances empathy with practical tools for change. I’m also deeply attuned to cultural context, identity, and the complexities of navigating life while holding emotional pain—and I meet each client with compassion, curiosity, and respect for their unique story.
I serve individuals who are navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or the long-term impact of difficult relationships or early life experiences. Many of my clients are high-functioning but internally overwhelmed—often masking emotional distress while managing work, school, or caregiving responsibilities. I also work well with those who are self-reflective, ready to explore deeper patterns, and open to building emotional resilience through insight and practical strategies.
In my practice, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a foundational approach to help clients understand and shift the patterns of thinking and behavior that contribute to emotional distress. CBT is a structured, evidence-based method that focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and actions.
In our work together, I help clients externalize problems by separating who they are from what they’re struggling with. Rather than seeing the issue as part of their identity, we explore it as something that can be understood, redefined, and transformed. This process creates space for new perspectives and a stronger sense of agency.
By exploring the root causes of emotional pain and internal conflict, we gain insight into recurring themes that may be holding you back. Together, we work to bring these dynamics into awareness, allowing for greater self-understanding, emotional depth, and long-term change.

He is incredibly authentic, and he absolutely makes you feel heard. He always seems excited to dig into the inner works of my mind, and I always feel excited to share that with him. He is open to my opinions for solutions but still challenges me to try thinking of even more out of the box approaches to my mental distresses.
