Hey, I'm Jeannuel. I'm really glad you're here! I'm a therapist, but more importantly, I'm someone who deeply values human connection, honesty, and authenticity. I believe therapy should feel safe, supportive, and real—not intimidating or overly clinical. I don't believe therapy has to feel distant or overly formal to be effective. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are while feeling supported, challenged, and understood. I'm warm, down-to-earth, and optimistic by nature. I value laughter when it fits, honesty even when things feel messy, and creating a space where you don't have to pretend to have it all together. Healing happens when people feel seen, heard, and supported—not judged or rushed. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person's unique story. I care deeply about helping people reconnect with themselves, build confidence in their inner voice, or discover it for the very first time. If you're looking for a therapist who brings both genuine connection and practical support, and creates space for you to show up exactly as you are, you're in the right place.

I feel very fortunate to have grown up in the Bay Area, but never truly appreciated it until I left and came back. I attended high school in Marin at the Branson School in Ross. After High School I left for Wheaton College in Massachusetts where I earned a B.A. in Psychology. I moved to Florida where I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Prior to earning my Masters in Psychology I spent a number of years working in child and adolescent residential treatment centers in both San Francisco and Orlando, Florida. It was at this time that I fell in love with working with adolescents, adults, and their families. After graduate school, I found myself working for, and soon thereafter managing, an inpatient treatment program for adolescents who had experienced severe trauma. I returned to California for good in 2011 where I started working as the Lead Therapist for the Adolescent Outpatient Program at Fremont Hospital. I opened a part time private practice in 2012 and transitioned to a full time practice in San Francisco in early 2013.

Psychotherapy relies heavily on the rapport between therapist and client, without it growth and trust cease to exist. I work towards understanding your needs and wants in a nonjudgmental safe, supportive, and empathetic environment. I believe mental health issues are a symptom of deeper, unresolved emotional issues and childhood wounds. I work with teenagers 13+ and adults. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy to help identify irrational thoughts and faulty thinking that are the main culprits behind anxiety and stress. I also utilize psychodynamic therapy to help uncover past issues, such as family dynamics and childhood issues. My full fee is $200 for individuals and $250 for couples, however I do work on a sliding scale as well. I see virtual clients and accept females, teens, and couples only for in person sessions.

When it comes to the therapeutic experience, my treatment motto is “therapy is a collaborative journey.” In treatment, the client or the patient sets the pace for treatment. As a clinician, we are trained to meet our patienst and clients where they are, currently, and provide services as appropriate. I always use this analogy when introducing how treatment will proceed to clients. I explain to clients that the therapeutic journey is like a road trip. They are in the driver's seat. They are setting the pace. They are deciding the route and the destination. All I do, as their therapist, is hold the GPS, suggest alternative routes when needed, and set the music.

Hi, formalities first! I am Tanya Gray-Dorsett, a Licensed Marriage, Child and Family Therapist and I have spent 12 years helping individuals navigate anxiety, self-doubt, trauma, relationships, and major life transitions, whether it be life-stressor related problems or more intense mental health concerns. These can include job stress, problems with life transitions, Anxiety and Anxiety disorders, and Depression. I provide warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can be seen and heard, understood, accepted for who you are. I want to highlight that I have advanced skills in working with trauma and PTSD symptoms with children and adults, and I have extensive knowledge and experience working with children with ADHD and educational problems. When I speak about my work with children and adolescents, caregiver involvement is of great significance! Which is where I lean to family systems work. I am currently mission-focused to help those who struggle with self-doubt, low self-esteem, problems with making self-sufficient decisions, and simply want to exist with confidence. My goal is to help you develop greater confidence, clarity, emotional balance, and healthier ways of navigating life's challenges. I also currently aim to support individuals who have trauma history and need that non-judgmental approach that allows them to feel safe and be open to talk about that trauma so that they may put it behind them and build brighter futures using a trauma informed model. I don't focus so much on labeling you with a diagnosis. Rather, I want to focus on and understand the person behind the problem and what is happening in your life right now.

Thank you for stopping by. I know that finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and I'm glad you're here. I'm Travis Buchanan, LMFT, LAADC, and I help individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and connection. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by stress, struggling in your relationships, facing addiction, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a place to slow down, gain perspective, and move forward. I've had the privilege of working with professionals, business owners, and others in demanding careers. Many are highly successful on the outside while privately carrying the weight of burnout, anxiety, loneliness, or relationship struggles. I understand the pressure of being the one others depend on. My approach is grounded in the belief that people aren't broken. Together, we'll explore the patterns and beliefs that have shaped your life—not to dwell on the past, but to better understand the present and create lasting change. I combine compassion with practical strategies that help you build resilience, strengthen relationships, and live more in line with your values. As both a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, I also have extensive experience helping people recover from substance use and behavioral addictions. I believe lasting recovery begins by understanding the purpose those behaviors once served and developing healthier ways to meet life's challenges. Clients often describe me as calm, thoughtful, direct, and easy to talk to. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and encouraged. If you're ready to take the next step—or simply curious whether therapy is right for you—I'd be honored to meet you.

For those engaging in identity exploration, I provide a nonjudgmental space to reflect on personal, cultural, and societal influences, helping clients cultivate self-acceptance and confidence in who they are. I also support individuals and couples in navigating relationship challenges, whether it involves improving communication, setting healthy boundaries, or healing from past relational wounds. I take an inclusive, culturally responsive approach to therapy, ensuring that every client feels seen, heard, and valued. By integrating various therapeutic modalities, I tailor sessions to meet each individual’s unique background and needs. My goal is to empower clients with the tools they need to foster personal growth, strengthen relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. I believe therapy should be a collaborative, empowering experience where clients feel supported in their journey toward healing and self-discovery. My style is direct, warm, compassionate, and goal-oriented, helping clients not only process their emotions but also develop concrete strategies to create meaningful change.

You've tried therapy before but found that coping skills and worksheets aren't cutting it. I am a queer 2nd-gen Asian therapist taking a deeper approach. Together, we collect the pieces of your life story you've taken from past relationships and experiences and examine them, looking for new ways to write your own story. I also welcome discussion of issues like racism, homophobia, sexism, and how they affect us. My clients are able to make sense of their patterns and discover their own solutions through a space we craft with humor, compassion, and the occasional meme. Most of my experience has been with children and teens at Kaiser Permanente over the last 6 years, including the combination of depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and conflictual family dynamics. I have also worked in research settings with folks experiencing psychosis and college-aged students. At present, I am providing crisis evaluations at a local non-profit in SF in addition to this practice. I see teens and adults through this practice.
