About me

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes that therapy is about more than working through challenges - it’s about getting to know yourself, understanding your patterns, and creating a life and relationships that feel more fulfilling. My experience in school-based and community mental health has given me the opportunity to work with children, teens, young adults, adults, and families navigating everything from anxiety and self-esteem struggles to emotional regulation, relationship stress, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, relational, and collaborative. I bring curiosity, compassion, and a little bit of humor into the therapy room, while also making space for the harder conversations and the moments that challenge us to grow. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you make sense of your experiences, recognize your strengths, and explore new ways of moving forward. Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating, overly clinical, or like you need to have everything figured out before you walk through the door. You can show up feeling overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain, or simply ready for something to change. My hope is that you feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported as we work together to help you build a stronger relationship with yourself and the people around you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My goal is for clients to leave our first session feeling welcomed, heard, and a little more comfortable with the idea of therapy. I know opening up to someone new can feel intimidating, so I prioritize getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and creating a space where you can be yourself without feeling judged or pressured. We’ll explore what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, what has been challenging, and what you would like to work toward. I also want you to get a sense of who I am and how we can work together, because finding the right fit matters. You don’t need to have all the answers or know exactly where to start. My hope is that you leave feeling understood, supported, and with a sense that we can work together to help you move toward the changes you want to see in your life.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my biggest strengths is my ability to create a warm, welcoming space where clients feel comfortable being themselves and sharing openly without fear of judgment. I bring a relational, strengths-based approach to sessions, meeting clients where they are while helping them recognize their own strengths, build confidence, and navigate challenges in ways that feel manageable and meaningful. I’m naturally bubbly and approachable, and I enjoy finding ways to make therapy feel engaging and collaborative. I also believe in balancing empathy and validation with thoughtful questions and gentle challenges that encourage self-reflection and growth. My goal is for clients to feel heard and supported while also leaving sessions with a better understanding of themselves and tools they can use in their everyday lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is open to exploring themselves, understanding their patterns, and working toward meaningful change, even if they aren’t quite sure where to start. I enjoy working with clients at different stages of life, whether they’re navigating the challenges of growing up, building their identity and confidence, managing anxiety, or working through relationships and life transitions as an adult. I especially value working with people who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves and helping them recognize their strengths and feel more confident in their ability to navigate life’s challenges. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I love building relationships where clients feel safe being themselves, exploring difficult emotions, and growing at their own pace. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin therapy; you just have to be willing to show up as you are.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my practice to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may be contributing to feelings of anxiety, self-doubt, or feeling stuck, while identifying ways to approach challenges from a different perspective. This may look like recognizing unhelpful thought patterns, practicing new coping skills, building confidence, or finding more helpful ways to respond to difficult situations. I believe in making therapy practical and collaborative, so we’ll work together to find tools and strategies that feel realistic and meaningful for your everyday life. My goal is to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself while building skills that support lasting growth and change.
